if i was you id get the monk the rest of the way to 75, end game paladins have a hard time finding exp parties (from what my paladin friends tell me). having monk for limit parties would be the fastest way for you to gain limit points, faster than having to level bard from 1-75 just to get started on limit points.

One of the things I really don't like about BRD and RDM though is that people don't recognize the fact that you've spent millions in gil. Sure, having the best equipment helps a ton, but it's a whole lot less notable than having the best gear for MNK.

I joined my friends LS pt in KRT, i was rdm, it was rdm whm brd war mnk pld. The PLD wore full DD gear, haub , ohat, etc, spammed retribution, not only could he take hits, he could DD too.

His Damage wasnt that impressive, but it was good enough to stay in the pt & make chains happen.

akiro is right....the only way i ever get merit pts are with my LS, and even those are hard to come by since almost everyone in BG has RNG/BLM/BRD to 75 and can just say,
