Tiamat is up on Bahamut

Hello everyone
What i'm am about to say is all from my point of view and sorry if i make any spelling mistakes.

-Zigma sends me a tele saying that he needs help and asks if i know other bsts who are free and willing to help.
-So i go a /sea bst 70-75 spam and ask anyone who i generally know is not in a party.
-Once we reached Tiamat we were only around 12people.
-FI attempted Taimat and failed, so Ecrub(i think, sry i dont follow what ls ppl are in, i dont really care) lots with Zigma. Zigma rolled under 100, then someone from BG(some taru blm) lots around 500. What was odd was he was the onlyone there.
-So everyone who was there were like "whats up with that? BG isint here and he lots?" drama drama drama
-Meanwhile we find a few Smns and some more NA Bst's(sleepy heads)
-We start the fight after Ecrub(not sure if it was your Ls or someone else please forgive me) failed to stop tiamat in his tracks.
-We managed to get off to a rough start.
-A Summoner who was leader of there party was AFK and we could not invite ther other bsts who were there. I convinced them to reform the party without the Summoner(we almost wiped ^^)
-30 min into the fight I start to see more and more members of BG
-I also noticed that our pets were being killed off by some people... (drama skill ups)
-while we were fighting it I started to see more people from SB showing up, helping us to kill any Adds. It took me a while to notice that they were all helping and not trying to hinder us
-It took a total of 2hours but we managed to Pinn Tiamat down and kill it. That fight was very exciting and more fun comaperd to Killing Aquarius back when I was a lv 60 bst with Ecleair



[b]now here is the fun part

The drops were:
H.Gaites (Demples lotted over 900 for it)
Kotes (Idk who got these meh)
D.Talon (Fudeni won the lot)
and a Firecrystal(Stingy Dragon) (Enana got the priceless crystal)

Zigma and Voltfest and Mr.Watermonkey were telling us(Every bst who came to help) Gaites are for the Ls (SB HIJACK LMAO) , Kotes ( i really dont know but SB got that), and the Dragon Talon which Fudeni got, but later on gave to Zigma. Zigma mentioned that the Talon would be sold and split amoungst all the people who helped (I.E. the 16 players who killed it from the start)........checked the price history today....checked the mail box today......... LOL


-So in the end we pulled before BG had a chance to assemble (sorry like i know about your HNM rules)
-SB claimed they killed it (they helped us kill it yes , but all that DMg was done my the Multi-Ls allience who Zigma foremd to kill it(ill admit it was fun and ty Zigma)
-And lastly we got screwed by SB Watched 100mil just vanish lol . Most of the Bst who were there wanted to (and repeatedly asked to sell and split the items) that would have been more fair for all that work.....HNMlses lol go figure.

the next time Tiamat poped

Someone in my Ls says that Tony is looking for help cause Tiamat is up(few days after we killed the 1st one)
-same thing as b4, we are desperately looking for member who are willing go try and take Tiamat down.
-once we arrive at camp we have just over 16 members 1 full bst party and 2 normal alliences.
-as we were looking for an Add party BG members start to show up(drama starts here)
-just as were ready to start a blm(taru again) from BG pulls with Sleep spell, gets claim while everyone could do nothing but watch.
-I really feel bad for Tony and everyone he asked to come help kill it, again this was a joined Ls fight with over 4 different Lses ready to fight Tiamat.
-One thing that was intersting to see was the BG members were able to hold it off with many Stun spells and with only 6 members. This went on for around 30 min if not less untill other members were showed up.
-Turst me i was just like the other on lookers , Shocked and very upset, i was actually thinging about MPK(more drama)
-In the end, a few people sent tells to the GM, including myself about them holding the HNM(was amazing and hurtful to watch).

Remeber this is all from my point of view and i am sorry if anyone is offended by this. I guess when BG say the bsts there they were thinking Zigma and pulled it right away. Umm yea thats it take care and have a good night HNM's all suck (except for the HNMs that drop EX items)

even though we won random, we werent ready in time so i told zigma we werent gonna delay past the usual 5 mins and to go ahead when he asked. it was a really nice kill, grats on it, and sucks to hear what happened to the outside helpers.

at least we learned from our sin of sluggishness for the next tiamat

also, in response to your 2nd post just now, we BPed it from the 2nd time it landed, and were dotting it the whole fight after one eseal sleep2. it wasnt being held we just were damaging it slowly. we've learned from being unprepared and raped on a pull and try not to repeat the mistake. you have to know the absolute earliest time you can pull/survive. i dont feel like finding the thread but this is basically defined as a "cobra"

you haven't gotten anything? damn I'm sorry. When fudeni got the talon I asked him to give it to me and I gave almost everyone there 700k+ on the talon split (I actually handed out more, maybe 2 and a half talon's worth for only 1) It was very chaotic and unorganized because there was people I didnt even know

sb didnt hijack the loot I made sure of that, I asked for it and I got the kote (they like... never sell) and demples got the boots (He set up everything with me, called me down, he was there alone when it was unclaimed etc etc he really deserved it and everyone passed it). I wish the wyrm horn would have dropped so you could have all gotten a huge split (12-15mil). If i missed you then shit i'm sorry. I really though i got everyone (I was still talking to people 2hrs AFTER the thing trying to get everything calmed down.

It's really hard when the only way for me to a communicate to everyone there is in /tell.

If we form a LS for this then it would be better but until then I don't think i'm going to do another tiamat run like that ever again. It's too unorganized when it comes to drops. It's really hard to make people happy.

I wasn't even calling people down for when tiamat popped in the following days due to what happend on the previous one.

Your observation skills obviously aren't up to par, seeing as how it wasn't claimed by a BLM, it was Flashed by a PLD and was slept ONE time by Quicklet.

If you were ready shouldn't you have began fighting? The reason you weren't fighting is because you weren't ready.

It was slept ONE time by Quicklet which wore off withen 1 minute and we began to DoT it immediately after it took flight and also began to BP it as soon as it landed.

Good to know your solution to not getting your way is to resort to MPK.

The fact of the matter is, we didn't hold the NM for more than one single sleep. You obviously did not pay as much attention as you suggested.

You also seem to be under the impression that because you happen to be in the zone first that it meant Tiamat was yours to have. Simply being there does not mean that you have rights to a Notorious Monster that is sought after by a large number of people. If you were ready to fight it you should have taken the initiative to claim it and begin, not stand around.

My flash took a full .1 second to cast, you had plenty of time to claim it during that flash cast time

Good to know your solution to not getting your way is to resort to MPK.

That would be true if he did react by MPKin you, but he didn't. MPK slips thru many peoples minds when they are in a frustrating situation, but once reason kicks in, they know there are terrible consenquences if MPK is involved.

Hmm so tony asked me if i could come out for that tiamat i said ok, only reason he did is it was up and his ls was sorta dead at the time, mine was no different. So we go out there and start making up what seemed like our alliance then noticed we didn't have an add party setup, bout that time is when BG came and pulled it.

The only real pisser i think is what Coug and I were talking about after is that if we knew it could have been slept we would have thrown a sleep on it as we hurried that add party up. My opinion, no harm no foul BG got it I watched the fight, was told after the fact the drops weren't great oh well another day another fight.

It's a lesson on having your shit together in my opinion, we didn't pull when we really could have only problem would have been getting the add party formed fast enough before the elementals came out or something to that effect.

it's accepted here too, it just that the lack of NA competition made this a relative non-issue for most Bahamut people until now.

claiming with 1 NIN, 2 WHMs, couple melee, 2 blms, and a rdm is always fun when everyone else on pearl is afk. lasted 45mins and no1 logged on then tank died =(
