    POL knows what they're doing

    I'm talking about the new NM claiming system and specifically how LONG it took for them to implement it.

    if they did it sooner, too many JP players would get too mad. from their standpoint this game was originally a JP game and NA players coming in and messing things up and spamming them with tells to join a PT already in progress in boyahda tree and inviting without sending tells and spamming "Help me out! Artifact Quest NM Please listen" in all 4 zones of jeuno, etc etc etc, was tolerable while there were still exclusively JP arenas to the game.

    on the other hand they could count on NAs taking a long time to get to the end game and exhaust all the other content before it actually started causing them to quit.

    I'm sure they have graphs and charts outlining all of their predictions on how long each demographic would tolerate this or that and exactly how much they could get away with before enough people started quitting to make them lose money. and this probably applies to RMT crackdowns too, and I'm sure the timing of the release of expansions and updates and special events
