My last post on the thread as most of it is pointless/offtopic flaming.
I spent 10 minutes making a picture to show why the raises we received from SB made no difference in the outcome of the fight and hopefully everyone from FF that's posting here as well as berticus who believes this was a team up effort is satisfied with
what they see.
The chart shows the members of our alliance from 35% hp (I don't have any screenshots prior to that, sorry) to 25% hp to about 1 minute after fafnir died. The first member list is from Raizen's POV so I rearranged the boxes rather than having arrows reaching from the top of the page to the bottom.
Between 35% and 25% we had 1 person die and get subbed out, not to make an appearance in the alliance again.
Between 25% and death we had 2 subs. In the top party we had swapped our 2 monks in the same slot to chi blast, neither of whom had died outside our alliance. Zira was moved to this party after that so that we could put a rdm into the middle party for refresh.
In the third party, between 25% and death, our RDM died at 10% and I subbed him out to get Spyderike in, a SAM, so that he could use his SP to help us finish fast.
The deaths in the last list: Makochin used Mijin Gakure, Raizen/Aubre died from accumulated hate from curing, Mercedes as well though she received a raise after the fight (you'll notice she's weakened), and Thelia who drew hate and died during/after Mighty Strikes.
If you still feel that SB raising people outside our alliance contributed to our defeat of Fafnir, or "saved us," then I'm sorry because I don't know what else to say as I've explained to the very best of my ability why this is not the case.
Claiming that "it still matters because this or that
might have happened" is, frankly, bullshit as you're reaching for a reason to justify your griping. If you're looking to deal with all the potential outcomes then you're on your own as I don't feel it necessary to go down the path of "what if."
