All I said was expect to see a lot more of us and that for all the naysayers who think we would have wiped because some people outside of our party and weakened until the end of the fight... that we will prove ourselves and do it again for you to see and give you nothing to devalue our linkshell.

I don't speak for my entire linkshell I am posting my feelings... but I think people have every right to come here and be upset.

We went to Fafnir of our own accord, confident we could win. We won the lot and entered the fight confident we could win. We fought and killed it, and I think we did pretty damn well for a first try confident that we could kill it again. The fact that some friends gave us raises that we in no way demanded or expected is the sole factor people are trying to publically belittle our linkshell and call us incompetent... We have every right to come and post and defend our honor.

Call it shit talk or whatever you want but I was upset. My point is I don't really care what any of you think when you say we couldn't have done it without the help of a couple of insignificant raises on people we would have just otherwise left dead... I don't care because I am 100% certain we could have done it without and we will do it again.

All I meant by my post is that expect to see more of us. There is no "owning" in HNM fights it's whoever gets lucky and gets claim, and with the new system claim is almost 100% luck so I would never insuate that we'd "own" anyone. So I apologize if my anger came across as shit talking but all I meant is that we will prove the naysayers wrong and I'm not going to let anyone belittle our achievement because they want to spin drama on some help we never expected or requested. Our linkshell is entirely capable of bringing down Fafnir and anyone who thinks otherwise can go to hell

I agree that most of this is all bullshit and it doesn't matter, but posting things like that are really going to get a lot of people worked up and cause 10 more pages of flames. From my experience, the reason a lot of people try and start shit with everyone is because they like to get a strong reaction. Usually, when the people they are provoking shrug it off/know its stupid, the entire thing just dies down because both parties lose interest.

So grats UDF, really great that you guys killed it the first time you fought it. I remember that we really struggled the first time we killed Fafnir, but its really a great sense of accomplishment when he finally dies. O, and about sitting in the background, we'll see about that

Well guys it is just a game, lets try to have fun.

Personally i dont mind if SB "helped" UDF at all, some in my ls will disagree and some in other ls's will disagree. All this bashing and burning is not going to help anything at all. Smash never actually said anything bad, but once he got some of you going he just kept on goading you. He is really a very nice player, some of you perhaps take things too hard. Zigma is also a nice guy, Smash just was able to somehow get under your skin.

UDF killed fafnir all on their own, they neither asked for the raises and the raises did not affect the outcome in any way, shape, or form. Instead of taking away from their accomplishment congratulate them. Bahamut is turning into a giant high school with all these seperate groups, constant gossip and bickering. So many of you preach maturity and self righteousness, yet you turn around and do what you preach against. Just please try to get along, and if not keep your beefs to yourself. What certain vocal members in ALL linkshells say or do does not always mean EVERYONE in a linkshell is like that, and that does not go for just my linkshell either.

One thing that did really make me angry though was the comment how our linkshell fund is used. Dont talk about it, it is not your business. If you have snide remarks regarding our linkshell leaders honesty please shut the fuck up.

During our next wiffleball run I’ll start casting diaga on the statues right as the black mages are sleeping them. After all, this is just a game and I want to have some fun. Beastmaster AF will surely drop by that one lake like it always does, but once we get a drop people could actually use, I’ll go ahead and lot on it even though it is not for whm and there are tier1 people that have waited months to lot. When they complain about me out-lotting them, I’ll just explain to them that they are taking this game too seriously.

I’ll go AFK for 30 minutes without notice and then come back only to find re-pops along the way. I’ll be sure to train everything along with me back to the group since big trains always seem to end up in some of the funniest in-game moments. Once the tanks take the aggro off me, I’ll alt-tab to avoid the imminent wipe. I’ll come back to see everyone dead, but me still alive. I’ll take lots of fraps screenshots to get a good laugh out of this thing that is just a game. Around this time, I’ll probably aggro something on accident while trying to get in position for a screenshot. I’ll be sure run in the opposite direction that they came from. Other white mages will likely be reraising at this time. My train will be going back to them by now and make them wipe again. I can take this time to get more screenshots in while the other white mages taking this game too seriously are handing out raises.

Around this time a Lawango Jadewanga or whatever will drop and the chat window will be filled with “100 nice” “nice…100”. I’ll out-lot Berticus for it because 100 currency is just too fun of an opportunity to turn down in this mere game.

We will be pushed for time on the way to the NM lake, but I’ll be sure to enjoy this experience that is just a game by fishing while everyone else fights the NMs. By this time, I’ll remember that my club is not quite capped yet and go meleeing the orc beastmaster NM. When I get charmed, I’ll have the fun this game intended by killing off other members since this is just a game.

I’ll be sure to run right up to Angra-Mangru before the kiters are ready to get some good fraps shots of the dragons. This will put us in a big hole early, but we are having fun with this thing that is just a game. I won’t have reraise on because casting that is extra effort in this thing that is just a game. It will be a close battle that could go either way. I’ll finally get a raise3 so I can go back in action healing and use my benediction. But, doing so might risk me dying a few more times and 5 minutes of xp is too much to risk losing for something that is just a game. Therefore, I’ll not accept the raise and put the rest of the people in more danger of not beating the boss.

All of you will be thanking me for making this thing that is just a game so exciting.
