Why havent you made a game that has good gameplay since ff7?
The answer to all these questions is they dont give a shit, they make loads of money every year, and people are still playing. Im not going to quit playing ffxi, but i do hope that enough new games come out, causing them to feel the heat a bit and get off their asses and do something. Seriously, the amount of work they put into this game balanced against how much money they make = they are balling hardcore. So why should they fix anything? Ive never seen a post looking at different forums where someone complains about any online game other than ffxi. Its just so obvious that they dont even give a shit, they really dont care as long as they make money and it will not change unless their making money is threatened.

Look, the only drop from any HNM in the game that I actually want is Zenith Mitts.

I have killed at least four or five Fafnirs now, and over thirty Genbu, and I don't have it.

Everyone fucking has Zenith Mitts, and I have just about all of my final BLM equip except for that. I have been trying to get them for five months. Zenith Mitts. Easy to get.

A newb LS pulls Fafnir, hits a Darter, links them all, and wipes in three minutes. We then get Fafnir, and as it turns around to kill one of their last White Mages, I accidently hit Stun and it's on the tail. So, because I have some hate from the tail, I log out. Can't log back in.

I swear, these are just fucking Zenith Mitts I'm trying to get here. That's just sad. If something that easy to obtain kept on being dangled in front of your eyes and then snatched away from you, you'd be fucking pissed as hell too.

1) Why isn't there somewhere that explains how stats work (even vaguely) in game like there is for the elements. (Why isn't it explained anywhere really, not in the manual either from what I recall).

2) Why can't we see our actual accuracy and evasion rating?

3) Why do the backpieces available for melee jobs mostly suck until much higher lvl?

4) Why are there so many items that are virtually useless?

5) Why were you so lazy with status icons that most of them are the same?

6) Why can I cancel all beneficial status effects except BRD songs?

7) Why does the head & legs selection suck for mnk (and perhaps some other jobs)?
