you have to launch the program and adjust it while the game is already running, so you have to be running windower i would assume.

Nope, I downloaded the .zip, opened it, unzipped to it's own directory, double click the .exe in there, and adjusted the slider (followed by pressing that button, but I assume you already knew that =P).
