That 3rd screenshot is a Rimilala Stripeshell.

This ancient Windurstian currency, valuing 10,000 mumus, dates back to C.E. 719. The engraving commemorates the 500 year anniversary of Star Sibyl Rimilala's discovery of magic.

10000 coins, not 500. 2 of those = full relic

the 2nd line of the 3rd screenshot says

"Rimilala Stripeshell comes to hand", that's the easy part (match the green words with the item name), i got that and i don't know a word of Japanese, it's the other stuff around it that's of interest.

The line on all those screens that starts with a kanji (the last line on the 3rd screen, its also on the other 2 screens) is "The voice inside your head as gone silent." and means the end of a message. Any spot you see that line means one "conversation" with the apparatus is done.

The number of lines and easily identified keywords (like 8 digit ID, and katakana words) seem to match the normal text you get from being prompted for password and/or trading in a chip+core, but a full word for word translation would be needed to confirm.

And cores aren't cheap anymore, if the currency is confirmed to not be a hoax, they will never be cheap again.

hmm, and if this is the KRT one and this dat is only used for KRT, almost verifys there is a way to make it work. Why else would they put these messages(the messages of you obtain) in the dat?

Iv been testing every idea me and my ls could come up with for about 9 hours now... im giving up atm...

Just started this morning before going to work. Started testing with the CN one since it's the only one I can think of where you can get water weather. Ended up with a rune axe and 8 cerment chunks from 2 cores. Also, it won't accept trade of single pieces of currency with or without core+colored chip. It'll just put the currency back into your inv.

There's one in Ranguemont Pass, I believe that's a busted one however. Would be quite interesting if you can seriously get 10,000 pieces from apparti.

KRT and Fei'Yin give S-level warnings about overload. the KRT one "looks" operationnal, having a colored crystal and a white light in the front area. The fei'yin one gives the same message but looks off, no light. The Ranguemont Pass one can't even be targetted, there's the room and all but you can't target the Apparatus, its just scenery.

I've been trying a few things out with this. I guess it's pretty much a stale mate right now. One thing I did notice is that the apparatus in Fei'Yin doesn't have any of that funky, irridescent liquid in the little basin. Whereas the one in KRT that's also broken does. Both of them give the same message.

Is there a third one that is broken or just two? The elements of the broken ones are Fire and Dark so far.

EDIT: Also one of the posts on those forums that Borisan or someone gave a link to, there's an idea stated that maybe the apparati are dispensing things that could possibly repair them? With the Cermet Chunks, I could maybe relate that because the material around the apparati is cermet (as you can tell because of the 'cermet door' before each one).
