It's a shame I have no clue who you are Magicx. I have never bought gil. I'm over $12k in student debt RL. I totally have the spare cash to whip out the visa and buy gil... And as to my gear, it's nothing special, my rdm has 4 HQ staves and nothing else +1 that comes to mind. My bst has a Hauby and Amemit+1, again whoopee...

My duo partner was Amator(75 brd) among other things and left me ~16M in equipment when he left the game. I resent being accused of RMT, particularly given that my gear is a far cry from special and I have no expensive crafts levelled up.

Well I hope that clears it up. For the gear that didn't come from Amator's geneorisity I'm a 97 chef and 62 Alchemist and I do well enough in earning gil that way.
