After watching AC, I also had a massive hard-on for FF7. I consulted my LS about whether or not it was worth it to go pick up the game used or whatever, and someone mentioned that SE called back the "original" FF7 games because of bugs (apparently you could do 10k dmg with Cloud's Omnislash at Lv40). Is that true? I really don't care for the gameplay itself, I just want to breeze through the entire game in a week with the bare-minimum levels and shit so I can have a basic storyline backing so I'm not picking my ass everytime I watch AC.

Hmm, Omnislash can always deal more than 10k if your STR is somewhat boosted. It's multi-hit, remember. And unlike in FFXI, multi-hit WSs rock. Hell, Cid with Pentathrust would deal 50k damage

When Sephiroth and Cloud are fighting, Sephiroth asks Cloud how he got so powerful, and Cloud replies with something irrelivant. Wasn't Cloud always that strong? I was under the impression that he was. -_-

I'll guess it's another aeris thing. Cloud never likes to mention anything emotional, and doesnt like Seph, so it makes sense he wouldnt bring it up infront of him.

Also, cloud got a exp chain 4 off the dogs at the first part, got 3000 xp & lvl'd up from the Bahamut ENM.

Well in the game Cloud was always in awe of Sephiroth's power and you beat him with the help of everyone. Cloud only beats Sephiroth head on at the end when he's weakened. In the movie, Cloud fights Sephiroth swing for swing even after all the fighting he had done earlier (Bahamut and the larva), clearly showing he was stronger than their previous battle.
