PLD tanking PM6-4

Have the mages bring some Viles and Vile +1. Not for their own use, but bazaar them inside the BC so the PLD can use them for quick healing.

Did it on the first try with PLD, MNK, RNG, WHM, RDM, SMN. The key to using a PLD tank is lots of healing working in a rotation so you always have someone with MP to cure him. Our tank used standard levelling gear at 60. Plenty of hi-pots and and CCB Polymers, along with consumables for the other party members, made this fight a joke.

I've lost the fight twice at 1% against Ultima with pld solo as main tank >_> We ran out of time both time, and 2nd time, I was casting fire 3.

Good thing I was just helping people with it, but it was still annoying. Always did it with pld+nin combo after if the pld had no other job.

meds win CoP, i don't think there's any other way to say it.

Sure you can get away without any, but not everyone can setup a perfect static with 6 brilliant players (even then, if CoP wants to shit on your parade, it will).

It's the first time in my playing career where I actually had to buy meds to win, something I think most of the NA population isn't used to doing.

Sui, I completely know what you mean. This was one of our attemps. As you can see in the screenshot we had both BLM casting AM on Ultima. I thought for sure we had it. Damn double weakened, full resist FTL

Hi, we're on the same server.

The worst part is that this was like a week or something after the update that added double weakness, so we had no idea what the hell was going on. We were all convinced that Ultima had glitched somehow or something, and I had even put in a GM ticket ('man wtf ur gaem stole my ultima kill!') when I remembered that brief passage in the patch notes.
