Anyone else get this? Or was he on crack? He also only used breath once or twice the whole time, something I don't remember from other fights.

thats quite nice - i remember when we, PO, killed Vrtra and Tiamat just popped rolled out there and killed her too. We were gonna go after jorm, and the hattrick, who was just sitting up but we decided not too.

That's cuz it was your first time fighting jorm rag and you don't know all the stuff jorm can do . Your linkshell has faught it once successfully before, so yea.

Jimmy is different then the other 2 that he seems to ONLY do 3 roars in a row, never just 1 at a time (at least under 10%)

Quite the learning experience for me. No one in the LS seemed to remember it being so spammy either...at least, they didn't mention it. But after killing Jorm, Tiamat seems much easier. The fly cycles, the roar, the para... Tiamat feels very different.

Anyway, live and learn I guess. Not really a very fun fight though, and I'd say definitely not worth the struggle for another Wyrm Horn or the Ores.

Happened to us today on our first win. Triple Roar many times over. One of them resulted in a Flail, which luckily we recovered from.

Tiamat looks like a welcome relief compared to Jorm, no Para, easier stunned Firaga, no tripple Roar ;;

I kinda liked the roar from Jimmy maybe just cuz of our LS setup. 5 Smns and 0 SA WS = fast damage and no flail risk. Our 2 main tanks would get hate reset sure, but so would our highest mage hate (usually me as bard in tank pt lol).

That reminds me of this post I saw on KI, a drg got pissed off because his BLM used escape, and he was in the air for his super jump or high jump, i forgot, anyway, he missed escape due to being in the air, and died, while his pt all left safley.

I dont see your point. That could happen with any other half decent melee after Horrid Roar spam on tanks or maybe even your beloved SMNs if they use BP from behind. Besides it was on the BLMs who MB'ed on the SC when it flailed.
