Amazes me that when people start to ask for proof/utterly own someone based on pure facts, the only response people have is "well uh you play a game so your real life sucks". Berticus did not randomly drop out of Duke to go on an FFXI binge, he just did not like the insane amount of work so he decided to change schools and be part of an environment that better suited him. You are a fool to speak so ill of someone who lives an honest and good life.

Let me tell you something about Berticus. He is the kindest, most intelligent, cunning, and decent person I've known in a long time. You should be honored to know that people like him still exist in the world. He has peacefully lead a linkshell that has endured longer than any other NA HNM LS on Bahamut that I know of. A great deal of BG's success is based on Berticus carrying the linkshell on his back through some pretty rough times. He has diplomated BG through some crazy situations dealing with FI, the original claiming system, earned respect of other linkshells (both Japanese and NA), and developing some crazy and brilliant methods to keep track of the linkshell's progress. Berticus is the Worldx of NAs and a credit to the community.

His real life is also a credit to his game play. He handles both game and real life with great success, and he has everything together and is doing very well in college. How could you pretend you know what his real life is like? Why would you attempt to take such a low blow?

And on top of all that, Bert still makes time to be kind to his friends. Even when he is really busy or dead tired, he would go out of his way to come and raise me when I died randomly somewhere. Or he would take time to explain things to me. Or he would just listen, something he is very talented at. He does this for everyone.

Get your facts straight, and don't ever speak ill of Berticus again.
