Mages get alot more out of FFXI than any melee do, my melee job got 1 thing from sky a crappy rare/ex scythe i never used and only got cause i was the only drk in the ls I was happy when i got it none the less and going to the events where fun, my ls had more whms than any job, we had like 15 and they all went to sky knowing even if the cloth droped it was to be kept in the ls fund and used only on ls events(ohh funny thing though one whm had a problem with it and left the shell to join Kazaku and now she has a HQ nobles lol XD).Know why they went to sky anyway? for fun.... It's a game, you do it for fun

Anywho i don't know why you 3 left the ls but if the ls has no item return policy you don't really have to return anything. I think you guys should have talked this issue out with yourselfs no need to bring random people into this. It was a problem within the linkshell and it's members/ex members. You guys should just work it out cause if im not wrong you where good friends for over 6 months...

First off I want to thank everyone who has backed me up in this issue. Although I don't agree with bringing this drama to these forums, this is where its found itself.
When I received my noble's tunic, we were told it was ours. I remember the huge dilemma. Infact it was really only a few days later, that asze posted that post on the member's forums of Kazoku stating that all noble's were ls property and the Osode's weren't. The reason for this I remember was the bickering between the whm's on who would get the next one. And then you yourself rescended this, and asze quickly resigned as an ls pearlsack holder. These were ours, and you told us this.
And yes old members did leave with Osode's and you said in no way did they have to give back their items. Yes you did later say, far after i received my noble's that the items were becoming ls property. How can you honestly go back and say this on the items that were already handed out. Is that fair? Sorry Kasber, you didn't want to be brought up, but Kasber and Lunia walk away with their noble's. And they both left recently after getting theirs. You gave me my noble's because you knew i deserved it. I was going to all god pop item events and to the god battles and to numerous other ls events. I logged many hours in sky helping, and now you want to take away the only thing i ever got to show for it.
I used to find you a very honorable man, but now i don't know. I talked to you many times over how i felt with the direction the ls was taking. I felt we should focus more on CoP events, and you would just come back saying there is nothing to get in CoP land, and we still have members that need sky items and we would start focusing on sea after we got those items. But you would also let in new members nearly everyday. You told you like to let people grow, and you wanted to give everyone a chance. Tell me Tony, how honestly could we move onto sea if we seem to have an infinite amount of players who have and have not joined the ls yet.
You approached me, in a very calm and polite manner in asking to get the item back. I appreciated this, because you didn't treat me as an enemy, but still as a friend. But after seeing this huge flame, where you personally attack my past and my honor, i do not know what to think.

Tony, u are so quick to stab ppl in the back, its a shame really...u always say "we are a faimly"..thats coo...but what happens with families? they grow up and move on..to better themselves..does the rest of the family demand they return everything that was giving to them, everything the family helped them get? if so, i would be in debt forever....a family helps their own members to better themselves, so the CAN move on. What i have realized, is ur term of family is only if they stay ur bitches for the rest of their game life....once they decide not to be ur bitch no more u stab them in the back...when i was in the LS with u, i respected u. As i have always stated and said Items are given to members IN GOOD FAITH that they shall continue to be a part of the linkshell. If they leave then they are no longer in good faith of the Linkshell. These items should be returned if you are no longer in the Linkshell. They were not kicked, they were not pushed to leave, nobody harassed these individuals to make them leave.

2 of the 3 told me that they were taking a break, 1 just left without saying anything to me. I understand sometimes everyone needs to take a break at some point but it really draws the line when you say that you're taking a break and applying to another Linkshell, I really don't consider that as taking a break. And on top of that telling the Linkshell that you are applying to, the reason why they left was due to "favoritism" Tell me how am I being unfair and unjust?

Do not look for or expect good faith here, it's something that lingers with all.

It is impossible to say whether any of it should be returned or not. I have always wondered when someone gets an item when they become freed slaves or if they are always a slave to some item that they "earned" but are not allowed to keep if they decide they do not want to dedicate the time they used to for the ls?

I don't think you should have to give back a nobles (even though I did) after some time.

If you are a WHM in a sky ls, pretty much the only good thing is the nobles. And after a long time being in that ls you decide to leave and they say you have to give it back.... fuck them. That is the only thing you ever got that you actually needed.

I left FF after 3 months, so I gave the nobles back. If I quit today instead of 4 months ago, I would have kept it.

Way to get off topic, i didn't mention not getting nobles at all in my post. Infact, I quit whm altogether and really don't care about nobles, if I need one for some reason someone in hokuten usually gives me one, but thats about once a month. Good job trying to change the subject though. Don't see why you made this about me, but whatever. Either way you said those people didn't have to give back the items (at least the Noble's, i didn't pay attention to others while in LS, but I believe you said the same thing about Osode's) and now are whining that they left with the items you said they could have. Gotta love a good leader.
