At the same time why can't it depend on an item? Would your concept of "doing the fighting and all the work so we won't give out for free" when there a PLD up in sky watching you fight Genbu and a pair of Koening Handshuchs drop? As an example, Koening hands is tissue paper and you've probably gotten enough so each person could get two. I don't think Hirro is saying "yooooo you guys already have osode's for everyone, start giving 'em out for free!"

that stuff was only trashed because the people in the LS who wants them wasn't there at the time to get it. if they dropped today, i can name at least one person in the LS that would lot on those items if they were there. just because something is on that list doesn't mean the LS as a whole is maxed out on it.

it's hard to predict what drops, and very difficult to predict when a member who needs an Ex item will be there to get it. if it's not possible to get all our own members online to lot on Ex items that they need, how would it be possible to manage a charity list of Bahamut players we don't talk to on a regular basis?

yes, some BG members have gotten some Latent Effect weapons from KS30 groups, but we don't follow a specific group around asking them for every Latent Effect weapons that drops they don't want. we were very specific on exactly what weapon we wanted, what BC it drops from and we did offer to pay for them as well.

if you want to run a charity, you can make a list of people that want each item, have them sit in that zone and beg for that item from every LS that actually kills the mob. it doesn't have to be restricted to BG and it will be much more effective.

Sekkite, I was not stating that no one enjoys being lucky, getting something for free etc. But it is much more worthwhile to actually work hard at getting an item, it makes you appreciate it more.

Hirronimus, while I can see where your idea is coming from, in a game that is based on hardwork and dedication (i.e. showing up to events to claim your items), your idea has little merit.

BG works hard for their items, how many times to you search areas during king pop times and almost all BG members are on waiting sometimes up to 3 hours for a CHANCE to claim. For weeks my LS camped Fafnir to little avail, from personal experience I know how frustrating this can get. If they toss some because no one wants it, that's their call.

How many times have I seen drydic abj's "trashed"? Too many to count.
Are there melee on the game who want them? Sure. Then they should work hard to make their character get them.

Realizing I'm fully 3 pages late to make fun DV's sad language skills. But I had heard Clarie was Chinese hence English not being there native language while you are a member of the US Military? That would suggest to me that you grew up in a Country where English is you first language. Hence the standard expected of your communication skills may be slightly different.

At any rate DV the only stuff I've ever seen you post is 2 sentence "OMFG STFU I'm in the army and you suck!" or "STFU <insert name here> you're not allowed to say anything here". For other posts simply come up with a variation of the same theme, mangle the English and it's done.

EDIT: forgot to post on the subject and not just harass DV. Giving away items is horse shit. Camp, claim, and kill or live without whatever it is they're not giving to you. It's not like sky or king gear makes or breaks a players ability to do there job.

BG only has 3 M Bodies as well, 3 Dalmaticas (2 went to people who quit). i think last 3 Aspid claims resulted in 2 D Feet, 1 W Body.
