Excalibur's added effect: damage proportional to HP is roughly 1/4 of your current HP. It ignores defence like Spirit's Within. I watched Elweed(Has first server-wide Excalibur) on Phoenix fight Tiamat with his LS, Feather(They were the ones who had the first ever fully upgraded Relic weapon).

Anyway, Elweed was doing 0 damage + added damage: 340-389 every so often, but it was really often, at one point the added effect kicked in 3 times in a row, so he did 0+389 > 0+389 > 0+389, so 1167 damage in a matter of seconds... coming from a PLD, lol.

On the other hand, Knights of the Round was doing 80-100 damage on Tiamat ^^;;;

About Excalibur:

Increased critical hit rate (~10-15%)
Increased critical hit damage (2x-3x)
Randomly multiplies damage of regular attacks by 2x-3x
Additional effect: 25%-30% of HP. Unsure as to whether it is max or current right now. He just did Critical for 391 with additional effect of 284 with max HP of 1102 vs some steelshell.
Additional effect proc rate is roughly 15-20%


About Knight's of Round:

Fusion elemental
Average to below average accuracy
Can make light normally
Can close light with light
Randomly makes the user invincible for a seemingly random - and short - number of seconds after use.
unsure as to damage multiplier right now.
Additional Effect: Regen. Restores between 10 and 50 HP per tick...no clue how to make it go toward the higher end as of yet.

thats pretty impressive if it activated 3 times in a row for that much additional dmg, but hit for 0 so it gave 0 tp to the mob. Would far outdmg anything a summoner could do.

Does Discordian have a Dynamis LS that supports him and only him? Im amazed that anyone would have the gil/access to that much currency. It sounds like an impossible feat.

Yes, but no.
Valor does Dynamis twice a week and keeps all currency. He did not take any from the linkshell to make his weapon.

When he and I started our upgrades, no one else was really doing it so currency wasn't much of a problem. He had Caliburn for months but we had difficulty killing the Animated Longsword.

Edit: ya Mdn's actually right. Disco totally broke the linkshell after he got Excalibur and stole all of our currency to make it. I just felt like telling some lies when I originally wrote this post. Disco also doesn't spend tens of millions of gil per week buying currency for the bank to put towards other members upgrades.
