Attestations are easy to get to nowadays though ._.

Valor does Dynamis twice a week and keeps all currency. He did not take any from the linkshell to make his weapon.

When he and I started our upgrades, no one else was really doing it so currency wasn't much of a problem. He had Caliburn for months but we had difficulty killing the Animated Longsword.

You might not have used LS currency on it (although with as much currency that's involved with upgrading the weapon, I find it baffling how you managed to get the full upgrade without using any Valor currency but it's not really my business) but you did spend all that time helping him get the attestations and the fragment plus whatever other items you need for the full upgrade. That's still a significant investment of your time (just about everyone on the server knows how much time you all invested in getting the fragment).

It's just as much your sword or anyone else in Valor's sword as much as it is Disco's. If that wasn't the case, then why would all those people show up to see him finish with the upgrade? It might not be the only thing people in Valor worked for in the last year, but it does represent a good chunk of it I think.

I agree. The best one to get is the h2h one. Hundred fist 24/7 on the mob is sick and fun as hell to see people dying left and right (We still won but it's crazy even with our roster of 50+ people all the time )

Increased critical hit rate (~10-15%)
Increased critical hit damage (2x-3x)
Randomly multiplies damage of regular attacks by 2x-3x
Additional effect: 25%-30% of HP. Unsure as to whether it is max or current right now. He just did Critical for 391 with additional effect of 284 with max HP of 1102 vs some steelshell.
Additional effect proc rate is roughly 15-20%


About Knight's of Round:

Fusion elemental
Average to below average accuracy
Can make light normally
Can close light with light
Randomly makes the user invincible for a seemingly random - and short - number of seconds after use.
unsure as to damage multiplier right now.
Additional Effect: Regen. Restores between 10 and 50 HP per tick...no clue how to make it go toward the higher end as of yet.

Did you get that info from parsing/first-hand sources, or from a site somewhere? Been looking for info on other weapons and it's really scarce ; ;

Think about it... Ver 5 weapons are really wanted by many players, but it's a race to obtain them. They're by no means easy to obtain. Some LS will sell currency to players in the LS and others will sell it all to keep free Dynamis for their members. Well, those who obtain this get a sort of "cool" status. It's a lot of dedication for a lot of members of that LS. It's also bragging rights for the owner and even the LS that worked their asses off to obtain it.

So yeah... that's my reasoning.

I got the info from killing shit with Discordian while he used excalibur and KoR.

New info: The additional effect deals less damage to light based mobs. something like 10-15% of current HP instsead of 25-30

We've never made an effort to get an Exacalibur though. I'm pretty sure the general consensus is "finally it got done" and "neat.. but was it worth it?". I don't think anyone is losing sleep over something we've never aimed for.

Only recently someone in the LS started working hardcore towards Bravura (Great Axe), seems to be the most practical weapon to upgrade for what we do, if the 15x modifier is indeed true... would be hot for wyrms.
