We NIN tank tiamat, and we've only gotten flailed one time at 2%. It was a damn fluke. It was very smooth up to that point. The other times we have NIN tanked tiamat it has been very smooth kills.

people who argue that pld/nin can't hold hate are doing something wrong, their ability to hold hate is far greater than pld/war or nin/war in a straight up situation.

how long does it take you to kill tiamat with pld/nin? I dunno we felt it a lot easier to go pld/war and just beat teh shit out of it. We tried pld/nin and perhaps it was a terrible start I dunno, however we neve really got to experiment cuz the first two times we tried pld/nin there was another LS waiting to claim if we fucked up. We use pld/war for everythang . I've seen pld/nin in action tho, either way still sexy.

PLD/NIN just feels gimped... I spent endless months camping for PLD equipment so I can get smacked in the face by Tiamat not be a semi-Ninja. My gimped HP PLD gets hit for 140-180, not 200+. -35% Physical Damage FTW >.>
