I praise you for being even more of a fan-boy than I. I did not know that there was gold Kryptonite in Matrix's pocket universe, I thought it was the green variety but it didn't effect Kal El because he was from a different universe. (And Linda Danvers is still Supergirl in my world.)

What do you mean by "toned down"?

JLU is hit or miss to me. I've seen a few episodes which were utterly fantastic, but then other ones are "meh". (They seemed to revolve around Lex Luthor's new Legion of Doom. God I hate the Legion of Doom...)

Well, he's strong but he does get thrown around a lot, I dunno he just seems weaker to me, not that i'm a huge fan or know a lot (or anything) just looked like that to me, JLU, 2nd to last episode, watch it... fucking sick, the whole thing is based on Lex kinda but it's got a twist with (spoiler highlight) Brainiac (sp?), anyway the second season is very very good.

I downloaded and watched the first 4 seasons in 3 weeks... season 5 has started awesome... I wish I could keep watching like I got used too for the first 4 seasons.

Lana can't die because she exists in the Movies... but I suppose Chloe could huh? I mean every single person that knows about Clarke's powers has to die eventually because no one knows about him in the movies... and thats why he won't tell Lana (thats why the writers wont tell Lana lol).

They don't have to necessarily follow the movies. Everyone can kinda make their own version of something. I know theres a few diff Supermans, or for example, Spiderman, Ultimate Spiderman, the Amazing Spiderman... etc..

So they could take the series were they really wanted as long as they have the permission of ... whomever it is they're suppose to get permission from.

God! I love the first episode in Season 4 where you can actually see him manipulating the air current before he takes off flying. And it looks pretty damn nice/real for me. High-budget series, lol.

They're running out of powers for him to learn. What does he have left? Ice breath and flight?

As far as powers go
Season 1 - Had Speed/Strength when it starts
Xray Vision

Season 2
Heat Vision

Season 3
Super Earring

Season 4
He flew first episode

Season 5 - Dunno yet

All thats left is Ice Breath (unless there is one I am forgetting)

Ice breath was abolished after the Crisis in the late 80's, along with the different kryptonites. Sadly they brought back ice breath and the various colors of kryptonite recently, I would imagine "super elastic facial muscles" are not far behind.

And could someone please explain to me how Aquaman is going to show up in the middle of land-locked Kansas? This has be very confused.

They claimed that due to cost and comics (apparently clark doesnt fly in the smallville comics) that he wouldnt fly in the smallville series. Yet he has flown twice (First episode of season 4 and the 3rd episode of season 5)

But like I stated, I dont know much about the comic books, so if you have info that goes against smallville, tell it! I would like to know how they vary the comic from the show (or would it be easier to go get the comic and read?

I dont think he fly's to catch the rocket, he jumps.

Remember "leaps tall buildings in a single bound."

Maybe Im wrong... but his flying looked a lot different when the "bad" clark did it in Season 4.

And I agree with a previous poster about them making the flying look VERY good... especially for a WB show which they dont even show on Cable until a few days after the episode airs in the states in the same city its filmed (Lower Mainland, BC [I have to download the episodes])
