The lowest i can get my timers (not as a ninja but as a whm/nin) is 34 seconds for utsu:ni and 22 seconds for utsu:ichi. I have blessed mitts +1 (6% haste) and blessed legs (3% haste) haste plus the haste spell. The thing I noticed is, switching from NQ mitts to HQ mitts didn't lower the timer anymore so I am of the belief that I have reached the cap.

But it has always been my understanding that Ninja's could lower their timer a little more.

44% haste is 22 seconds on a normally 45 second recast spell, yes. haste isnt a constant 2% - 1 second, it changes with the duration of each spell. get that MNK to sub WHM and cast raise!

Without any haste gear on my RDM, I have Ichi to 20 seconds and Ni to 30 when I use haste spell+Fast Cast IV. (33% recast time.) I would love to borrow a speed belt and other +Haste gear to see if those are capped or not.

Normal recasts are what, 37 and 45?

With Haste only I think it gets down to 30 and 37. I know my gear makes my recasts at 30 and 38 at present, and I have +15% haste. It would take another 2% to equal the Haste spell, which means it is 17% Haste.

The Speed Belt and Panther +1 (2 pieces I don't have) would change a normal recast without the spell to 29 and 35, which is needless to say pretty uber. With Haste on on top of this it is 22 and 27. I forget how much march adds, I calculated it before...I think with march it is still the same exact as Haste if you have both on...15 secs and 19 second recasts. This is where it caps.

Oh ya, I forgot Panther Mask, but seeing as how it's capped for recast timers, would benefit attack speed only, right?

My timer for Ni w/o haste atm is 36-37 seconds. I have haste +17% Panther+1. Speed Belt, Haidate and Fumas. With haste it is near 30 seconds, and haste + double march is near 20. Lacking only dusk gloves / Koga Tekko, I'm not sure what timers could get down too tops. I would like to test if timers to cap out at a certain recast though.

I know for a fact with the maximum gear the lowest that you can get is 15 on Ichi, so I know that's the cap, hence why I think the stuff I just said should come out right.

Your Ni recast should be like 21 with all of it, lowered to 19 if you get dusk hands.

If there was I'd say it was probably at 40-50% haste (near to half your delay)

I may be mistaken, but I could have sworn I heard a MNK I was talking to one time, said he had ichi down to 11-12 seconds? Black Belt + Fumas + Haidate + Panther +1 = 23% haste I think? and he said he had haste and dual march. I rarely use ichi in those situatoins becuse Ni is always back up when I need it =x so I do not know how low my ichi is.

100 Fists is just sets your delay to 0

although I believe it just sets your base delay to 0 but you still have weapon delay (i.e 0+48 (destroyers)), but that's not even noticable once you start punching yet it is if you use ability/ws

MNK/NIN using Fuma +3, Black Belt +12, Byakko's Haidate +5, Haste +12 spell and Double March +12 = Haste+44% would make it possible to blink just using Ichi I assume.

Not counting Dual Weild and Suppanomimi (doubt any MNK got that, but possible if other job is using it), that's prolly even more Haste.

That's exactly what i use^^ and auppanomimi doesn't make any difference that i can tell.

Dual Wield isn't haste as in re/cast timers, it's just melee delay when you're actually dual wielding
