Also, since when you do KotR, you get mad regen for a while, and an Invincible effect, right? Wouldn't a PLD/NIN with Excalibur+Kraken be the ultimate T or even VT soloing machine?

I'm guessing from what he said a few posts ago that the 30x100 is going to be returned to whoever he borrowed from.

im saving up some money right now to try out different gears n stuff, since PLD has 269 club, for like a weapons PT or something it might be worth offhanding. Just gonna have to wait and try different gear combos, Haub vs koenig body vs af2 body vs SH, sniper vs BQ ect

Well, I've been going by what Discordian has posted on Allakhazam about Excalibur. He said he tried dual wielding Excalibur and kraken club while killing mobs in Al'Taieu, and that the kills were slower then when he was just using Excalibur since he swung Excalibur less.

When you get Excalibur, second thing you need to post is a parse of an xp party. First thing being a picture of the sword of course.

I meant Excalibur/Kraken for soloing, because of the regen/invincible because of KotR spam.

I wouldn't know but theres that whole deal where "Performs WS followed by a normal attack" but you only saw the animation for the WS but the text saying you did both went off.

I think it would have to do with the short delay on the kraken and i assume the 'longer' delay on teh sword. Dual weild should be, Main hand dealy + offhand delay then - whatever dualweild trait % is on teh delay. But I would think it would be: Sword -> Club(1- 8 ) -> Sword -> Club(1- 8 ) etc etc. If the sword delay is shorter than what it would take for an 8 round kraken, I would think that you're sword would still "go off" but you wouldn't actually see the animation, but, I would think the text could be there. If you had a sword + 1x Kraken, then you'll see yourself standing there waiting for the sword's delay to run out.

Thats all i'm thinking, i never had a kraken, nor will i ever have excalibur to run a test on.

We went fragment hunting too tonight! We managed to take out the Animated Knuckles followed by a quick Chain 1 on the Animated Horn. Attestations and Fragments both now for Dagger, Knuckles and Horn--just some currency haggling left for final refunds and remaining pieces left. -.-
