Think of the Ivory scythe when it first came out. The price was sky high at the beginning, then went down as the materials were found to be easy enough to obtain.

Give this time, the price will go down to a more reasonable level.

well ivory scythe's main ingred was an ENM drop...so resources were limited in a sense.


Ori Scythe doesnt have any ingreds that are ridiculously limited.

Ivory sickle is 3m on Asura. Is it cheaper on others?

Noone has sold Orichalcum Scythe yet on Asura, to my knowlege. Orichalcum Ingot is 1.5m, total cost 1.7m for synth.

Why would a DRK buy this for end game over what is currently available? It doesn't seem to be ridiculously expensive, but if it is a considerable improvement to the weapons currently sold at its lvl, then the materials used to make it probably will go up in value to due to increase in demand.

Orichalcum scythe has a base damage equal the the highest base damage available before the patch, +acc and +macc (according to a DRK friend of mine, I know nothing about DRK myself).

Orichalcum Scythe
D97 Del528 Accuracy+2 Magic Accuracy+2




So basically its HP Drain in exchange for ACC+2 MACC+2

I don't see the lance mentioned anywhere in this thread. I found the recipe for Ponderlous Lance (which uses Orichalcum Lance as an ingredient), but didn't see Orichalcum lance at all at 87 gold skill. It's either close to 100 or a different craft

If you want a new item on day 1 of the patch, then yes something that costs 800k in raw materials will sell for 2m+ at the AH.

I sold 8437895072349057 pieces of crow gear yesterday at around 120k when the raw materials cost about 60k. HQ's alot more. That's just the way things work lol

Lost my ass trying to control the Raven Jupon market though, when you see 5 99+ clothcrafters all in the guild together go about 0/60 on HQ's you assume it's going to be rare. Go me buying the only 2 on the AH and then trying to sell all 3 at a large markup, only to find out the gold sub is around 20 and it was just 5 veterans having the worst NQ streak ever. That is also how things work >< lol
