This thread is a celebration of freedom from something you never had to be free from in the first place. If you didn't like what he was saying, you could have cut him off anytime. Instead you announce in a thread all it's own that you don't like him and therefore he's not allowed to play in your sandbox. This is obviously a closed community. I don't understand half of what people garble and rend with their keyboards. If all you want is flames, make a flame board. Adding it into what's supposed to be a community forum to discuss FFXI topics only makes it into so much server trash. GIGO, worthless material.

It's called a search function, use it and find what you need, or you could just make a new topic asking for what you need provided some other topic hasn't covered it already. anyway, Hirronimous, should've been banned a long ass time ago. people in BG and not in BG have asked me to do it on numerous occasions.

i've never done it and the only reasons he lasted this long was because i tried as much as possible to respect the spirit of the community forum in not moderating based on opinion.

his latest criticisms, that i can remember are
1) BG are fags, because we don't keep a database of all Lv 70+ players on the server and give away free items we don't have an immediate use for.
2) BG are fags, because we don't let non-LS members attend events unless they are close close friends or potential recruits.
3) BG are fags, because their LS founder doesn't monopolize all good items for himself, because we value participation and dedication of all our members.

should we really have to apologize that our LS leaders don't reward themselves with Wyrmal Legs and Kirin's Osode off our first Kirin run because the LS "owes" him? should we really have to apologize that our LS leaders don't take the LS fund and buy themselves SH+1? should we really have to apologize that our LS leaders don't take the LS fund to support their crafting?

criticism is okay but he doesn't criticize, he trolls. he takes the smallest things, good or bad, and tries to twist them into negatives to fit his agenda.

his arguments are inane and pointless, supported by either completely fabricated or highly exaggerated "facts". while it has always been easy for me to expose them and turn him out to be the jackass that he is, it is also completely pointless and understandably very tiring for some people to have to wade through his shit.

that's par for the course here. and some of the reactions does show some people share in the joy of his banning, that's part of the community reaction.

this thread also invites criticism, allowing for a great uproar to his banning, which really hasn't happened. on a lot of other forums, most bannings are done on the down-low and can't be contested. this thread is an open discussion for anyone who cares to voice their opinion.
