One GM will ban you for foul language, another will tell you to /blacklist the offender. Which is it? Recently your GMs banned Mrwatermonkey from the Bahamut server for doing no more and no less than other players have done to him AND ME in the same circumstances. Only to be told to /blacklist the offender.

If the 'victim' is Japanese you ban. If the 'victim' is North American you tell them to /blacklist.

Fix the problem with the rules and you won't have as many problems. It's sort of a matter of social logic that you don't save one punishment for one group of people and expect the other group of people to tow the line with a different set of rules. There's a lot of anger involved in this particular ban. Mrwatermonkey is a highly respected linkshell leader on the Bahamut server. Any personal feelings aside, the GM and supervisor who did this to him both deserve no less than termination. Considering the amount of money you recieve from those subscribers on Bahamut server, I would strongly rethink your GM position and repair the disparity between GM rulings as soon as possible.

And no, telling me that it's two different companies or two different cultures of GM will not change my mind. ONE company has ONE set of rules for EVERYONE. Saying otherwise is in direct conflict with the norm of ANY company ANYWHERE in the world.

It sucks Monkey, but I don't think you can do shit. Someone in my old LS got perma-banned with 100 clothcraft and like 300mil cash and the best BLM gear, he called POL and they said he would re-issue him with a new ID and his char and stuff would be on it. They said that it would be inclosed in a letter he would be recieving a few days later. So he was pretty happy bout that, then he got the letter and it was just notifying him he got banned LOL

But yea that was harsh getting banned for something so gay...

I am writing this letter on behalf of Mrwatermonkey of the Bahamut server whom earlier today had his account banned. His account was banned after someone had called a GM on him for bad behavior through bad language. These stipulations are appropriate grounds for a warning or suspension, but to ban someone for this reason is an outrage.
I can dig up numerous accounts of screenshots where a GM would tell someone who was a victim of abuse through bad language in the game to blacklist the person who was offending them. This happens commonly among NA players; however, it was a JP player who called the GM on Mrwatermonkey. I want to know why this particular JP player was not told to blacklist Mrwatermonkey like the countless other people in the same position. Is this some kind of bias toward players of certain world nations on SE's behalf? I can't answer that question only you can; nevertheless, this is both unfair to Mrwatermonkey and all the other NA players.
Mrwatermonkey is a leader of one of the top NA linkshells on Bahamut and a very good leader at that. He has been an integral part of the Bahamut community ever since the game was released in North America. Unfairly banning his account like this is not only an outrage to me, but also Mrwatermonkey's countless supporters and friends on the Bahamut server.
Mrwatermonkey's account should be unbanned reason being he was faced with an unfair discipline compared to what many other players have recieved. Other players have been let off the hook for a lot worse. On behalf of Mrwatermonkey's linkshell, we humbly ask that you take note of these unfair discrepancies and un-ban Mrwatermonkey. Thank you for your time.

I lost some gear and almost lost 120mil (move it to another mule on my character a few hours before the ban taking elitaone's advice)


I don't remember what i had in there but some stuff are expensive, most of my beastmaster gear was stored in there (titami shield, other stuff like dynamis currency/new ancient currency)


Damn, this is bullshit. They ban any accounts that are under your name as far as billing. Should have listened to rustymetal, even if it sounded a bit made up.

There is no way to call SE to see if i can get these items back right?

If you wan'ted your account back enough, hire a lawyer and SuE SoE for breaking their own ToS. I have ex-GMs that will testify for you
