Must be.. I never take mine off unless I'm nuking and need the +skill from Warlock's cause it just looks so badass.

I think Pluto Staff would be #4 or #5 for me. +10 HMP, and +15% Sleep.

Um.. average.. why Shadow Mantle over a Defending Ring? If you're lucky.. it'll proc 10% of hits, saving you the equivalent of what a Defending Ring would have just assuming you're taking only physical damage. Throw one Hurricane Wing in there and Defending Ring has one-upped you. Also, fuck Excalibur over Gjallarhorn. Throw in a mob with respectable evasion combined with a subpar proc rate, combined with the PLD (if it's not a RDM lol) not gaining full hate from the additional damage... yeah that's surely better than 133% more potent ballads. Anyone who doesn't put Gjallarhorn #1 has a poor understanding of what it would do for end-game situations.
