    Limewire Problem

Recently when I downloaded and installed Limewire, I search for stuff (really popular things as well), and NOTHING comes up on search for 30 minutes-1 hour. When my friend (on the exact same network) searches for the exact same stuff on Limewire, his computers comes up with results within seconds. I don't know what the problem is...I tried without firewall and with. (My friend has firewall on). Can anyone help me?

it's kinda random, I used to have that problem then it sorted itself out, try reinstalling it or upgrading to latest version...maybe limewire isn't used to your computer XD

    RE

I had the same problem with limewire...happened after I updated it. I assumed it was because of my wireless connection and just uninstalled it >.>

Limewire has run into the ground, most music engines only run for 5-6 months before being shut down and offering little to DL.

My limewire has no problems. My friends do searches all the time along with myself, on many different genres of music, videos, etc. I've had no problem finding what I need.

It might be your computer then, I recommend WinMX instead. or bearshare

Did you check you're firewall? you might have blocked it by mistake
or you might have not given it the right to access the internet

    hope that solves it
