Why do I still see people levelling up DRG?

Here is the thing THAT REALLY FUCKING PISSES THE LIVING FUCKING SHIT OUT OF ME OFF.

I have +51 STR and even with that amount I have to struggle to even break 1k damage on my fucking DRG.

Give any other melee +51STR and their damage will be soaring well over 1.1k.

This is extremely unfair. I don't care if they don't make DRGs useful in endgame or not, but this is one of the most fucked up aspects of the game I've ever seen.

DRGs have been in CoP statics numerous times on Bahamut server as well. Both JP and NA. and they had absolutely no problem gettin to Al'Tauea (sp).

Then again for my CoP static I'm either going to be on my BRD or BLM until after lvl 60 caps.

it's actually pretty fun listening to all the ppl say "lolz drg can't even WS past 400 dmg" and then prove them wrong. Then to which they attempt to make some kind of bullshit excuse for it happening.

tell you the truth, I don't really care how much damage they do, I just hate the fact that they LIVE and play the game to prove people wrong..i mean where is the fun? did we started this game to prove people wrong? or did we start this game to feel superior over others?

maybe some do, and again, those people that feel inferior usually end up choosing dragoon... but in the end thats just my opinion

Had fun a while back in a running pty on my DRG in the Celestial Nexus Circle, Highest chain we got there was 18 which was pretty fun.

Proving idiots wrong is a perk though

My DRG has +62 STR here before food. Can't break 1k Wheeling Thrust on HNMs. Most I've gotten was 910 Wheeling Thrust on Tiamat.

My SAM on the other hand has +49 STR (Yeah it's semi gimp since I mostly concentrate on PLD) breaks 1k like it's nothing. 1100 so far on Tiamat.

My PLD/THF has +54 STR before food. Used it the other day for lols and do 1020 Ground Strike to Tiamat right off the bat.

Yeah DRG needs a boost big time. Still though, regardless of whether or not the job is lacking it's still very fun to play. Skilled DRGs will always have to find a way around their weakness to succeed. /nod

and Hamdulelah ramadan is going good, it passed so fast though, its really sad I'm spending it away from my family and back home, so it feels diffrent :/

When I was in BG, I would sub DRG on DRK main and do 450 damage jumps with soul eater in dynamis. I can see it as decent ballista sub but there are so many better options out there that I wonder why ppl try and take it all the way.

So are you saying that DRGs exist for the sole purpose of idling in jeuno, because they don't want to partake in endgame activities? It's not like they can do much else. Which brings me back to my original question.
