Nothing makes us happy... and even if we try to be happy it's only a facade. The truth is... we are simply just living melancholy lives, being socialized into thinking something is making things better than they really are... When we're young everything makes us happy, everything is wonderful... just simple crap. But truly... life is a struggle to remain on the slight edge of happiness, not knowing true joy... life is a battle with ourselves to realize satisfaction... watch this don't skip it just watch it and reflect on life....

And going back on your reflection of life, I don't feel that way. I don't feel depressed what so ever. I guess you just have to find your own unique happiness.

That footage is actually from a Kenna (Music artist) music video, I believe. The song being Hellbent.

I'll see if I can find it.

Kenna is also a really good artist, I would suggest checking him out.

EDIT:

Actually, doing some research, it appears that the movie did infact come first, and then Kenna used it as a music video.

Either way, get some of his work (I suggest Hellbent and War in Me to start off with).

I liked it. :D Don't let anyone elses negative and undermining opinions cloud what they really thought of it. It got to them in some way and effected them positively Im sure. People will just cover it up with a sarcastic or witty comment, thus is life.

P.S. I loved the song too.
