Fully upgraded Relic Shield on Phoenix

Anyone have an idea on how much currency you're looking at for last upgrade? All the charts have ???'s for 2nd to last and last upgrade on the shield. Someone told me 0 currency. Just the fragment/necroscythe but not sure if his source was reliable. =\

If it follows the "routine" that the previous 2 upgrades uses, it'll cost 20 of each for stage 4 and 33? of each for stage 5. Wish there was more info on this shield, i wanna know if it has intimidation rate or "hidden" enmity on it.

Forget where, sorry, but I read a post by someone who has the stage 4 shield that "Enhances Shield Bash Effect" increases damage 10fold in dynamis which is great... but also is an aoe. I'd really like to hear from someone with the stage 5 shield to see if sheild bash is still aoe outside dynamis.

I believe its the Animated Shield that has an AoE Shield Bash, not the Aegis itself.

In Dynamis at least everything is pre-linked, so all shield bash will do is wake everything up. (And your BLMs can re-slepp them.) I'm not saying that the effect isn't stupid, just that it is slightly less stupid.

ok, well since all the relic weapons have a special weapon skill attatched with it, i think the aegis shield should get some special ability

like hold the shield out and the face screams at the mob or something, that would be badass

It does have a special ability. "Additional Effect: aggro everything close when you Shild Bash". :D

I dunno if it has been confirmed yet or not but its rumored that shield bash has an additional effect: petrify. When you look at the legend of the shield itself and the medusa face in the center, its pretty viable.
