Trust me i know wat it feels like i've played thf as my only job since NA release lol, they always blame the thf for crap drops

I spent a lot more than 40 hours camping that thing lol, took me 52 kills till i got the drop, considering i missed more than half the pops as well

We didnt used to, untill 1 day they couldnt show up, and we got NOTHING at all. Now anytime af drops we <33333333333 them and let them know :D

Thieves are fun though! They make people tannk :D I went to Dynamis Xarca on my rdm/nin and made them all TrickAttack on me, and held the NM on the spot while the others killed the rest. Was so freakin cool :D

There are only six unique Wynavs. If there were 15 Wyverns each based on a job in the game, there would be 15 entries. It's probably like Ix'Aern DRG where if you kill one, it's simply resummoned ad nauseum.

However, in anticipation for your expected rebuttle, let me state this. Those 3 Wynav's are always up. AV has 6 Wynav's in the files, but only 3 up at a time, so it seems.

I've never looked at the dat files myself, but do mobs summoned by a particular mob have to be next to the mob (in the dats) that summoned it? Do the 3 extra Aern's Wynavs necessarily have to belong to him and only him?

(I don't remember exactly, but normal DRG Aerns summon Aern's Wynav also right?)

My Thief is 75, If someone sends a /tell asking for TH help, as annoying as that is, I help them.

Was Camping Lord of Onzozo, and then I get a /tell from someone who was camping Argus, saying that Argus had popped, and he needed TH (I already had a Peacock Amulet, so it dropping or not didn't really matter to me), so I run all the way to Shakhrami, kill Argus, no drop, tell the person I was sorry he didn't get drop, then the person tells me "I should have asked a Thief with TH4, then I would have gotten drop"

Seriously, I'm not hung up on items at all. There's plenty more reasons to play this game than items. Honestly, I'm not sure if I have that attitude because I've been a THF for so long, and really until very recently, there hasn't been much if anything in the treasure pool that I would want or could even use. I like increasing the chances for an item that someone else will be happy to get, and the fights themselves are what keep me playing the game. The CFH on JoL idea, yeah if it's to get at AV for the first time, maybe. But meh, if that's how you have to do it everytime to pop AV. I'm pretty sure we could have dropped JoL had Feather CFH'd it as there was 94 people in the zone when it was at 60%, but that'd be a pretty weak way to pop AV. There's got to be a better way than zerging it with BLM's or causing THF's & DRG's to miss out on an item that's pretty godly (even if they do suck vs HNM).

BTW, there's no way to confirm this as I don't speak Japanese or know anyone in Feather, but I was told they had 15 BLM there (a friend speaks JP and was talking with their SAM). After about an hour into the fight i got curious because it sure as hell didn't seem like there were 15 BLM's worth of nukes going off, so we counted. After another 2 hours or so we could only see 9 BLM's in the logs (3 casting on the 3 phuabo summons, and 6 casting on JoL). I could be wrong because I wasn't in the alliance, but if they got JoL to 60% with 9 BLM I'm damned impressed.

its funny, i have a taru thf friend who can do 1500 shark bites every time.

we had 3 wars, my thf friend brd and rdm, and thf outdamaged 1 war, and close to me and the other. they get tp fast in xp, and their ws beat our rampages. ive seen her on KB, faf, still does impressive ws.

weve realized that you get better drops if the thf is in the same party that kills the mob. if you puit a thf in blm pt, and they get kill, youll get double abj and such. hell, we got 4 venomous claws in a row off genbu with a thf in rng pt. took him out and put him in tank pt, and nothing

I'll let any of the other WAR's comment on this one. Oh my WAR is 75. If I was ever out parsed in a spam pt by a THF I think I would sell all my WAR gear and go fish on the ferry 'til I quit the game because I sure as hell don't belong in an xp pt much less fighting an HNM which is what we're really talking about anyway.

THF outdamages non-Ridill WARs in Meadows do to piercing bonus, which he might have been talking about (And from talking about 1.5k Shark Bites, that's my guess since our THF's have full Hecatomb and I don't see them doing that much on Decos. Though, they also miss SA alot on Decos :3).

and it was on statues in sky. saku is just a pimped out thf, and not everyone has adaman haub, ridill, 50+mil in gear. it was just a normal geared war with maneater main that got beat.
