Just curious if anyone has played this awesome game for the PS2. How'd you like it? want a sequel? If so...

It's a good tactics game, and you can play it forever, literally.

Greatest game of its genre imo, and it can go on forever... cause there are areas that can be randomly generated to be stronger then your party, and you can increase the monsters lvls by passing Bills through a "congress" made up of demons.
My highest lvl character is 2623(max.9999) and I can still go get ownd in many places, but you dont have to be a super highlvl to beat the game.
Its fun and comical, and it isnt that hard, pick it up.

The game rocks, very, very hard. I need to whore out my characters some more, I've only got about 2k levels under my Ninja's belt so far.

I have Disgaea and La Pucelle's Tactics. I haven't really gotten into them yet, but Disgaea I'm starting to meander into...

P.S. I *love* the weapon descriptions.

There is no such thing as a hard RPG or TRPG anymore.

going through the story the first time, I mean just going right through, not that easy. After... easy (if you up the monster's levels it's not too easy). The optional stuff at the end... that's damn hard. Taking the time to get that far in level to beat the stuff is hard.. or just trying it without insane leveling is even harder.

I havent played that one yet, but I've gotten well into Phantom Brave, which is another game that they made. I've been told if I like Phantom Brave that I should try Disgaea. Phantom Brave is pretty awesome.

    Ohh I love Disgaea! They're making #2, can't wait!

I don't think it was too easy... definatly wasn't hard (it's no Vandel Hearts 2 but then again I was young when I played that) but it's a great game with good voice acting ('cept Flonne, hate that bitch) and great comedy.

wow gilmaster that's hard core... i need to play it more.

if you like disgaea... a game to me that is even more fun, and is in that TRPG world is Jagged Alliance 2. JA2 is the king of all TRPGs for me.

Also, an oldy, but reallly amazing game is X-COM

lol i guess u cud call it hardcore but at that time i had absolutely nothing to do . I just sat there killing things all day till i got a few hundred lvls.

I also managed to get the best sword in the game for Laharl, the 1 u get at the last lvl of the item world or w/e that place was called.

You have any screenshots of JA2 or a site which tells you about it? i liked Disgaea so i might wanna get that game if its good

Thanks for the link, actually looks quite interesting. How difficult is it compared to Disgaea?

I can honestly say that is the hardest RPG I have ever played, it took me over 2 months to beat it. (Guides are for pussies.)
