Chests go away at Buburimu if time runs out. I know firsthand. Theres 2 snares you can get at Valk, one prevents its 2hr the other makes all hits do 1 dmg on the mob. You can only get a chest when all the mobs die at valk, and theres a 100% treasure 'spot' for a weapon like a bcmn, although its usually something crappy.

it makes you hit the mob for 1 dmg, or makes it hit you for 1 dmg ??


I just do smn x3 lol, so I dont care about the snares -.-

double attack?

1) Double attack does not stack with normal multi-proct weapons.

2) PLD/RDMs have also reported getting up to 4 attacks in a round.

I've done the valk one 5 times, got 1 kris, 3 fuscina's, and timed out once. The tarutaru snare makes mobs hit for 1 damage, the mithran snares cancel a mobs 2hour. They are fairly resistant to sleep but not to bad. Me and 2 friends do this as blm brd nin, allthough blm blm nin is probably better, or maybe a rdm(if they have sleep1, I don't remember).

Theres a valkrum quest, and a buburimu quest. At buburimu, the chests you fish up go away if time runs out and you got one. At valkrum when you beat the mobs you should have enough time to open the chest.

Also at Valkrum, you only fish up snares while the quest is active. The tarutaru snare makes the mobs hit for like 1, and the mithra snare prevents their 2hr (100 fists). You gotta target the mob you wanna use it on and then use the item (like in ballista).

can you only fish up those 2 things while youre fighting? or can you fish them up anytime before actually trading the map to the ??? before the fight.

i imagine with 3 people having one of both items, theyd be cake, no?

or if each person brought like 5 hi-pots.. i dunno. it seems like an easy fight that each person could take on a seperate one.

can only fish them up durring the 'bc' and we usually go crab>sahagin>sea monk for order. blm seal sleep1 sahgain, brd lulaby sea monk, nin+blm kill crab while brd fish for snares. If you dont use the 3 smn pt then hipots and yag drinks are really needed.

I've turned in 73 straight bhefels only to get a brigand's chart. I've turned in maybe 130 bhefels for a total of 2 brigand's and 0 pirate's charts.



at 10k / bhefel on AH (say 9500g after tax and quest reward), thats 1,235,000 gil thrown away for fucking nothing.

Bheful Marlin or something close to that. You trade that until you get a rare/ex (Or Key item.. not 100% sure on this one) and do a level 20 cap 3 person BC thing... Kill 3 mobs.
