I'm really glad Mercurial Kris is so annoying to get and rare as a result of that. I hate the God awful damage-to-TP ratio that Thieves give enemies at the best of times, this would just make it worse.

That is true, although not all xp mobs have nasty WS that would be more detrimental to the party to use more often then it would be beneficial for the THF to get TP quicker to get a WS off quicker.

It wouldn't be too bad actually if you had a THF that knew how to use it and they were partied with a job that would get a lot of TP fast. (SAM or RNG mostly.) While it obviously isn't the best idea, but's workable with skilled players.

I'm leveling SMR to 20 just for this bcnm. Astral Flow took two that it hit down to 30%. A second will kill them. The third member, John, is coming as BLM to sleep the third if it isn't killed in the second astral flow.

However, Teepo, I'm always open to suggestion. I'd love to hear your strategy, since mine will work - but isn't the most challenging. It's just a nuke fest.

It wont. It'll knock the sahagin down to 5% or so.

LS member is 0/13 on the dagger so far. Used SMNx3 everytime. Yes after the first round he said 2 are dead and last is around 7%.

Well, then maybe in that case SMR Astral Flow x2, then John come as his normal Monk and Hundred Fist it into the ground.

I sincerely thank everyone (Nynja in particular) for their input and direction in this quest. I'm looking foward to obtaining that dagger.
