Monk will do more damage over time then warrior and they have the KRT parties at level 75, but warrior trumps monk in the WS department.

Combo, so far, has outdone the WAR WSs at level 40. I haven't seen anything beat a boost-prepped Combo.

Dude, at Lv40, Backhand Blow > Combo. =\ 41, however, is when you start to own shit.

    Backhand Blow is too inconsistent.

Monk hands down wins in DoT. Although as I said, WAR is clearly better for WS damage and the DoT is not too far behind.

Kinda depends on the quality of the warrior you're talking about.

With Sneak Attack on IT, yes.

Edit: This was consistent.. It was closer to 180-200 consistent, but I believe this one was a double attack WS.

The only way a Warrior can out DoT a good Monk is with a Ridill.

What if the monk has Shura gear, god gear, and a black belt?

Or just toss all that away and have the monk use Faith Baghnaks. Faith Baghnaks for DoT > Ridill.

I'd roughly say that a mnk and war of equal gear and playing ability are about as good in their respective situations. Play whichever is more fun to you.

Christ, if you weren't in such a hurry to reply to every thread and actually read what was said properly, giving it time to sink in, your post count would be about half what it is and you'd have little more credibility.

There's no need to split hairs, I was simply stating that, in my opinion, the only way a Warrior can stand a chance at outdamaging a Monk is with a Ridill. My Warrior was 75 months before my Monk yet my Monk has everything and I still don't own a Ridill. Nothing I can do on my Warrior can touch my Monks damage without one and I obtained all the best items for Monk in the space of time two dropped. I like my chances of outdamage a Ridill Warrior but I also like their chances of signficantly reducing MP consumption.

    What can I say? I'm a forum whore .

Though really, I just get bored when finishing up some work. Though yeah, I should read posts over a bit more carefully before responding.
