I know you said no emulators...
but for the hell of it.. get MAME, a front end for it, and find Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo
I just got Civilization IV, and it's pretty damn cool.
It's not an RPG, but there's certainly no shortage of content. It's also great for between classes or at 10 minute stretches because it's turn based.
if battery is a problem, you should do what I do and scope out seats near outlets
also I don't think you should bring your laptop to class because I don't pay attention to shit when I do, which is everyday
I downloaded FF7 + No CD Crack (PC Version) on BitTorrent awhile ago and played that in class for awhile.
Well duh. In one of my classes the outlet is on the motherfucking cealing and I look like a retard with all this cord stuff hanging out everywhere. But one of my important classes has no working outlets for some reason...Originally Posted by Almaa
I'm pretty sure after you click on weather or not you want to play sc or bw you can take the cd out.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
If you want RPG or something a little long get Ys series, download it off torrent or something. Or hell, get any Nihon Falcom game o_o-b
Ys 1 and 2 Complete is an excellent 2d action rpg (like zelda lttp) and there's like a 100% fan translation for it
I never beat Ys6 because I didn't really like the 3d-ness of it, but I think it's still pretty good. Ys Oath in Felghana is the newest one and in 3d but it's far better than Ys6.
Zwei and Legend of Heroes (up to 6?) is also made by Falcom but I don't really like them as much as Ys.
For a fun simple game like nanaca crash you need some jp doujin games, they are really good and you don't need to understand jp. Drill Milky Punch, Valkyrie Tag (from valkyrie profile), alot of doujin shooter game, especially the priest shrine thingie forgot the name, and I personally like Melty Blood Re.Act best(based on tsukihime). Don't forget to download guilty gear xx #reload too![]()
They make offline games still?
Most games now are graphics intensive, so for your laptop the only thing I can think of is an emulator :/
the Megaman Battle Network series for the GBA was a GREAT timesink IMO. Long games, intresting story line, pausable OMG.
Being GBA, it wont take up too much CPU power, AND, you can hold spacebar down for turbo mode ( traveling is sorta gay )
different kind of megaman, but I liked the series. gogo\\
also >> Anyone know when the next MMBN comes out? >.>
Anything from Heroes of Might and Magic series
Awesome games, totally forgot about those.Originally Posted by LAGUNA
Thats a great game, but Im looking for something that doesnt need CD, and it doesnt have to be a company made game. I mean like.. if anyone knows what a Rouge game is, or text based games. Or stuff like little fighter. I like those cheesy-non resource/battery intense games that can paused/arent full screen so I can take notes or change classes easily. Closing laptops owns fullscreen games so thats a no go.
these days, no games need cd's 8)Originally Posted by Not Kuno

Did you try Morrowind?
Wow I dont think anyones reading my posts.
Afk banging my head against the wall.
lets sum it up:
NO CD'S
NO FULL SCREEN GAMES
NO EMULATOR
NO ONLINE GAME PLAY
and
NO DIVING
Yeah. I've played fun games that meet those critia before, but apparently nobody else has.
Civ 2 doesn't require the cd, is playable in windowed mode, not emulated, you don't play it online...and I have no idea what diving means.
Alpha Centauri also doesn't need the cd (that's what I play on plane trips because I can't find my civ 2 cd)
lol the diving was a joke, like a swimming pool area, maybe i should of put NO SMOKING
