I did not leech Fenrir, I put the party together myself. We did all the avatars, and then finished with Fenrir.

No, me posting my levels doesn't prove me to be a noob. It proves that I've been around for a long time, and I know a lot about a lot of things. A "noob" as I understand it, is someone who doesn't kow ANYTHING, yet still refuses to learn. Kind of like being in the dunes, and telling the tank to provoke, and he tells you to gtfo because he doesn't want to get hit. THAT GUY is a noob. I do not fit that profile. If someone tells me to try something in the game that will improve my experience, and the experiences of those I interact with, I'll do it.

As to your statement about me being a summoner main, which I didn't comment on earlier, what exactly is that supposed to mean? I happen to be fully capable of keeping an entire party at full HP and still landing nice MBs on almost every skillchain, and many of the parties that I go with say that I did a better job at main healing than a full whm. I rarely melee as a smn, since I mostly get invited as a healer, but I have managed to work out my own system of being both, and I would like to hear a whm say that they can cast two cure3's at the same time, only using a couple MP more than a single cure3.

That's great that you know the difference between a newb and a noob. Yet you still effortlessly managed to avoid the point I was making.

Are you even aware of exactly what a summoner is? A summoner meleeing is not the same as a whm or blm meleeing. Do you know what the range of Earthen Ward is? Sometimes the avatars don't even get close enough to you to cast their spells on the summoner, let alone hitting everyone else in the party. In parties that I am not the main healer, it's pointless for me to stand far back and twiddle my thumbs when I could be meleeing. I usually hit for about 12-20 damage with my club, and then my avatar (I typically use Carbuncle, for the lower MP cost) hits for around 30-50 damage, and at my blood pact timers I will dismiss Carbuncle and bring out Titan for Earthen Ward, or Leviathan for Spring Water if we're fighting goblins, or Garuda for Predator Claws.

Right, and I'm sure by saying "Coco get in here and smack that thing with your club" actually means "OMG I hope the summoner doesn't stop just standing there looking bored, out-curing the main healer, and start meleeing." I always always ask permission before I melee, if I'm not told to melee to begin with, and I have never been told I couldn't melee. Of course, if I'm main healer, I never melee, nor do I ask to melee when I'm main healer. Thus my previous statement of "I rarely melee."

Fact: SMN club = C+.

Fact: If you refuse to main heal, you fail at SMN.

Why are you asking to melee, Mages shouldn't melee at all. If you're bored then you're probably a waste of space in the party.
