Sadly is is completly random. Supposedly the Fierce Attacker type uses higher level weaponskills more often than regular Attacker, but I want to see more parsings before I say it is conclusive.

Don't worry about getting the NPC good armor until you can lock. Or else you can easily lose all your work.

btw that DPS thing is bs since the weapon you give them changes. They get some sort of custom weapon that isn't the one you give them.

I got the fashionable option last night, NPC is 48. I've been XPing in the same area a lot and it won't update the cloths anymore, so I guess I've "capped" although looking at the list there are "better" cloths it should be able to get, so... maybe you need to get to a certain level of cloths before fashionable becomes available, and maybe you can only get to certain levels depending on your NPC's level. I'm hopeing to get 50 tonight and maybe get the top tier of cloths. I've had the top weapon (mithril scythe) for a few levels now.

It's funny, after a while Enitsu stopped looking for new members because the party ran so well with 5 and NPC.
