    Ideas inspired by interview thread

THese are a couple ideas inspired by the interview thread

Sorry to post this really really late, ones is an idea that I think is important the other is more of a theory.

first) two handed weapons need to be fixed in my mind they are broken, and then it's compounded by the fact that the majority of one handed weapon users are reciving about 15%haste or greater. Truth is you just don't consistantly hit for twice the damege of a one hand weapon, but that need to happen. I'm a war so it's blatently obvious to me being skilled in a weapon of each kind, but the fact of the matter is, my great axe needs to consistantly hit for a little more than my two axe hits combined and it clocks in closer to 75%.
I think the two ways they could do this would be to either increase the effect that the damage rating on a weapon has(except on weapon skills, it's strong enough there already) now that would be good and dandy, but it would rape theives in the butthole, so my preferred option is to take all 2 hand weapons lvl50 and greater and increase their damage rating by 5 or so and yes I'm dead serious.

second)this is more theory, but perhaps they could give all mobs with a tp regen a slightly stronger tp regen, But make it a static tp gain, by that I mean no amount of mele strikes will give them more tp, this has a possiblity of solving the throw xxx blms at it that the sea monsters magic defence has apperently failed to solve.

Sorry I had read that Matt Hilton post a couple of days ago and after a long thought this is what I came up with, I'm not sure if this is a private board and apologise for intruding

There is no doubt in my mind that the two handed weapon damage formula needs to me reworked. A war at 75 wearing DD gear will hit for almost as much on average with a one handed axe as they will a two handed axe, but by using two, one handed axes hes hitting almost twice as fast and depending on which one handed axe and gear, he is hitting twice as fast. Players that dual wield one handed weapons get enough attack and str up gear to easly break their damage cap, and while their weapon skills are not quite as powerful as two handed weapon skills they're getting them off twice as fast. I think SE is taking the wrong approach to evening out he game by nerfing rng and blm, it would be easier and I think more satisfactory to all players if they would have simply made two handed weapons deal consistent damage closer to their damage cap. Since the penta-spam nerf drgs have been struggling to define their role in the game, drk's have been relegated to being stunners only, and sams had to sub rng and spam slug shot to be of value and I can't even remember the last time I saw a war using a great axe. By reworking the two handed weapon formula SE will benefit melee damage dealers and save themselves the trouble of having to screw with rng and blm.

I don't get why you want your lines separated

"and while their weapon skills are not quite as powerful as two handed weapon skills they're getting them off twice as fast."

Neither of those statements is really true. If you getting slower tp from gaxe it's due to some other factor, DW haste is calculated into tp gain. weaponskill damage depends higly on the level of the mob, for merits, rampage makes anything else look like a joke (@100tp)
