    Jormungand Need Info

    Ok, I'm from the Diablo Server.
    tonight My link shell had went up againts Jormungand! You can guess it went bad we didnt even get 2% off this guy lol.

    the real problem we are having is "the Very Tough Mobs" surround this GHNM.

    ok here is what we did..
    first we had everyone that got out of party to let others in toskill chain. while they gain tp off elements or bombs.

    well that didn't work. lol the bombs keep blowing up killing like 6-7 people mages where working over time to keep the people alive fighting Jormungand..


    Any info as to what you'll did with the extra mobs or how to take down jormungand. the Na LS on Diablo are acting like punks and not giving no info to as to how they handle him.

    Ill be glade to post some videos of the battle going down, and how we quickly we died in like 25 min ><!!! but, whats a good free site to post videos. becuse i have no idea how to post raw video.

    Don't melee bombs. Thats asking for add party wipe. Best way to deal with them in my experience is to burn them with Blms. Or you can sleep them repeatedly, its really based on the numbers you can push out.

    If you're deadset on getting TP melee Ice Elementals, who have no TP move, and just stun nasty spells.

    That should handle your add PT, there's a wealth of info on the boards about how to deal with the 2 lesser Wyrms, one posted not so long ago iirc, just do some digging and watch some videos or another LS on your server. Having Fafhogg experience helps a lot too.

    Wouldn't a Vrtra like setup (minus the kiting) also work, and have the SMN's BP after touchdown?

    a "vrtra like setup" meaning smn damage?

    because i'm pretty sure most linkshells use that for all 3 wyrms

    jorm is the easiest of all 3 wyrms, he never double attacks and hits like a girl. getting up to the dragon is harder than killing it

    Well...I agree that it's a waste of time, but...

    1. Use tanks with utsusemi. They're much easier to keep alive, and they can blink Jorm's Blood Weapon.

    2. Since Jorm is ice-based, get Blind, Slow and Elegy on...that's about all you can do to help out your tanks.

    3. Manaburn the adds away if you can...meleeing them sucks ;_; Some LSes make a sleeping party and just sleep them all. Pick the spot where you want to fight that has the least # of adds.

    4. SMN damage is often preferred for wyrm fights since releasing the summon will erase any hate the summon built up... This saves a lot of relogging and a lot of deaths.

    5. I don't know the level of your experience with the other wyrms and their TP moves... Roar will completely dispel the person that it's on. Jorm likes to spam it. Wing is dmg + paralyze. Breath is linear dmg. Terror is like stun, but can't be erased. Spike Flail is a PV/you lose.

    6. ESeal sleep2 is nice after junk like flail, or wing spam or roar spam, so unless you're feeling ballsy, don't DoT your first time.

    7. Stuns are nice...especially if you have a RDM with a fast connection and fast cast gear. Jorm will cast junk like bindga, paralyzega, blizzaga3...stun the blizzaga if you can!

    8. If people other than tanks are building up too much hate, make them relog or let them die. ;_;

    I don't know what else to say. You won't win your first time. Probably not your second either. See if you can go out to Chasm and watch a Tiamat fight, with all the filters off. Try to get a feel for the wyrm strat from watching. Once you get the hang of these fights and your team starts to work together well, they're pretty easy and fun. gl ^^

    I'm sure you were implying it in "completely dispel" but it also resets hate.
