    Up'ing the DMG on SCs is a good way to improve melee and give alternatives to (not nerf) BLMs.
    that might be the best idea i've heard in this entire thread. sc's afterall should be an elemental source of damage due to the elements of weapon skills clashing. it shouldn't only be, like it is currently, a little animation that gives a blm a small window to do extra damage with.

    you can dream all you want about the next update but im sure as hell it wouldnt be what youre looking for..
    i cant really talk much about nerfing, but adjusting the jobs to a ceartin level would be better..nerf the over powered ...or just power up the under powered

    december update is probably gonna have some adjustments made to jobs and the battle system to prepair for the new jobs coming out in the new expansion.

    Chances are that the changes made to the battle system might just be a change to prevent MPK, and not balance the melees.

    Here's my prediction on what december update gonna be like It's too good to be true, but some of it is probably going to be true :D

    [Event-related]

    - An extra story of Chain of Promathia with Bahamut have been released. You need to finish all the mission to get it.

    - final level limit quest to raise fellowship level have been added
    - new quest to fully customize your fellowship have been added
    - new command for fellowship has been expanded, figure it out yourself.

    - 4 new dynamises have been added, they have same rules as normal dynamis. we are too lazy to explain lol. It will be capped, because as someone mentioned on this thread, the pic of new dynamis have a palm trees wearing a low level gear!

    - new summoner avatar have become available, you need to beat all dynamises to get it, it's diabolos o.O-b

    - new quests to get exclusive spells and song have been added.

    - new useless quests and several new NMs have been added.

    - new boring fishing.... stuff


    [Battle-related]

    - Mob TP gain system has been adjusted proportionate with your weapon delay AND damage. Generally, it's been reduced. For magic damage, it will also be proportionate to damage instead of plain 10%.

    - Elemental Skillchain damage have been increased, the resist rate is also reduced.

    - NMs in Lumoria now will drop new abjurations. Their drop rate for pop item is still same o_o-p

    - Fully revamp of summoners battle system.

    - Claim system have been adjusted.

    - Several new merits have been added.

    - It's now possible to switch on/off a merit you desire.

    - (details on new spells and songs)


    [Item-related]

    - like... alot of new items have been added.

    - new type of item have been added, check the explanation below

    1. 20/44/780
    This means... well, I think it means that in month 20 day 44 and year 780 something good will happen?

    2. 7900ms
    This means you are really laggy, you don't deserve to use this item, get better connection.

    3. 98/57[8]/345,64/9(8P)^2x4
    We're not exactly sure what the heck is this


    - New type of abjurations have been added. NPC to uncurse it will be at tavnazian safehold.

    - More event items will be storable at the NPC we introduced last patch.

    - The effects when using the following items have been adjusted:
    something/something/something you won't care

    - The following item names have been changed:
    Powerful Rope -> Not-too-powerful rope
    Merciful Cape -> No-Mercy Cape

    - Some of the items icon have been changed to a worse icon.


    [Other Content]

    - The following changes have been made to Ballista.

    -Mages beside RDM will now sometime can instant kill any player on any condition. Yes, we are going to make this change right on Ballista Royale to screw you lol

    I wouldnt mind at all if they changed ballista to "Utsesimi can no longer be used on a subjob".


    Yesterday's ballista = utsesimi fest. 4 RDM/NIN vs 3 RDM/NIN and 1 NIN/RDM, I HAVE NEVER SEEN DIAGA BEING CAST SO MANY TIMES BEFORE, I THOUGHT WE WERE AT NIDHOGG.

    God, then the next match came, same shit, except it was a bunch of war/nin, drk/nin, thf/nin, rng/nin. Heck if the nin could sub nin they would. Those 2 matches + chicken pussy PLD/NINS who run away when they are near death and losing badly, reminded me the whole reason I quit playing ballista.

    PLEASE allow food to last beyond a death in ballista.

    PLEASE move the respawn homepoints from their retarded locations on every single goddamn map except ghelsba.

    PLEASE make quarried items more relevant to the jobs that are digging for something. Nothing dumber than digging up Eye Drops as a BLM.

    PLEASE release Diorama Abdhaljs-Purgonorgo Isle. Ghelsba is too damn popular and I hate camping Tillecoe versus people who want their own stupid 'OMG LEVEL 10 NO SUBJOB LET'S GO' matches.

    Battle system has been changed! Now mobs will have their name turn orange for 3 seconds before you lose your lock.

    New areas! Temenos South is release where you can fight the same monsters you've already fought 8 billion times, only for even less reward!

    New fellowship options! Even more cloths are now available!

    New quests! We've added quests that you need to do in order for you fellow NPC to wear those new cloths, enjoy!

    New crafting available! Now you can make level 1 gear with +1 earth resist out of you spare nidhogg scales and venemous claws!

    Other stuff! Ballista has been completely changed.

    People have just fallen into that trap of a thought.
    if the difference between having or not having BLMs means you need 3+ people of other jobs to compensate for each BLM, i would consider that pretty much the same as NEED.

    because for a lot of groups, missing 3-4 people is often what determines whether they have the manpower to kill something or not.

    no, it's not gay. those PTs is less XP but it's also less effort. yeah you can pull in 10k+ per hour in a super MNK PT with all MNKs that have Black Belts with a good mage puller.

    or you can also pull in 5k-6k in a Sea PT with fairly gimp BLMs playing with one hand on the keyboard and one in your pants.

    the complete lack of effort is why they nerfed it. not because the XP per hour blows everything else away.

    Yeah, 4 blms deserve 50% of the drops. If you're too lazy to form a normal party to do it, then you only get half of the cut. It's that simple. You're paying for my time...I know I'm not about to go out there just to get your greedy ass a free v claw.
    Wow, on sylph BLMs do this a lot, and only get 15%(3%each) @@;

    Because we all know that it is physically impossible for someone to form a fairly standard party with 5 friends to beat Operation Desert Swarm. If someone is so lazy that he/she has to pay strangers as opposed to taking the time to get a bunch of friends together who will each put in an orb, then he/she deserves to have more than half of the loot given to the people who are actually doing all of the work in the BC while he/she sits on his/her ass doing nothing for the fight.
