Or do they? Some LS don't utilize them while others do. It's obvious yours doesn't. Secondly as I said above.. Ridill is nothing more then a farming/meripo weapon. So if you have a WAR main who always uses Great Axe at HNMs and another person who's main... PLD for instance and has BST at 75 also. You're obviously going to say "Give to WAR". That's what I'm talking about. If they have equal attendance and both help the LS loads... BST go ahead and lot. Why not? You're not going to be doing a ramp PT on Tiamat.

It's a balance of player/job for priority...

BST/THF: SATA Spiral Hell for SCs.
BST/WHM: Can be a solo adds PT at Tiamat and replace 5-6 other "required" people.
BST/WHM: Exactly. Charm the darters and pull them all to the zone or to a corner and make them kill themselves. Now you can safely MB Thundaga III.
BST alone can charm the raptors and VoS to remove some adds. Yeah, while they might not be engaged to Fafnir/Tiamat/whatever, they can play a pretty helpful role.

Because it pains some people to see something as rare as a Ridill go to something like a SAM or THF and have them never use it in the HNM scene... Sure, its a nice reward to the person, but on the whole (at least, in my LS) people would rather see it go to the job that would put it to best use. THF can use it great... solo. SAM can make a ton of Spirits Withins with Ridill... Except we never use SAM to Spirits anymore, SATA Gekko or Kasha do too much damage with a meritted SAM. BST? Well... we don't have enough BST in our LS for it to be a problem, but the low rating means it probably wouldn't be used on HNM's any time soon, and even if the BST was soloing adds for a Tiamat fight or other situation, I can't see a Ridill doing anything but pulling mad hate.

I believe that's a different scenario. I think a better idea would be Herald's Gaiters. M. body can be useful by increasing the survivability of your PLD for tanking. If you have WAR tanks for HNMs, then sure I would.

WAR probably won't use it that much either. RNG won't and DRK won't either. THF will only attack that last 1% for Treasure Hunter. I'm not going to turn this in to a "BST should get Ridill" thread. Unless your WAR is tanking, they're better off using G. Axe for more damage. (2000'ish Steel Cyclone > 200'ish Rampages).

Ridill has LIMITED uses end game.

Have you ever played a 75 war....great axe fking sucks lol...the damage is far surpassed by axe/ridill combo on ANYTHING IN THE GAME. The ONLY time gaxe is impressive is for the first 300% steel cyclone, afterwards its just a waste of damage. It hits for barely more than an axe, and has a far slower swing. You've either never had a 75 war to test it or you've been denied a ridill in the past based on jobs and are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

I have a 75 war with e. body, n. head, alky, EVERYTHING you could want for a war...and I don't think I can ever imagine a situation where I would actually want to be playing war/thf with great axe over war/nin. Its just not realistic. That 1 big e-penis ws doesn't justify the dps of it.

More than that, warriors with lv 5 relic gaxe actually GO BACK to ridill/axe because they still can't do enough dmg to justify it. Wtf are you smoking lol.

Have you ever seen a drk/nin with ridill and kraken hit last resort/souleater and blood weapon? Its fking beautiful, and its far more useful on ANY mob in the game than a sam/thf/rng or bst will get out of the weapon END OF TOPIC.

The only argument that people make for giving it to war before drk is that warrior has higher skill and can use the ridill in more instances than the fkoff hnm fight. But yes, I dare you to tell me that a thf is going to walk up to Fafnir and start hitting it for 100 dmg a swing 10 times in a row with their ridill. Its by FAR more useful to have a drk get it than any other job outside of the well rounded war, its undisputable that its a greater benefit to the linkshell to have a drk generate something like 2k dmg in 15 seconds than the other jobs hit for 0-20. What do you have to say to that?
