FFXI vs. WoW vs. FFXI

If you guys will continue to be as blind in your following of WoW, and everything you deem to be superior in it, and continue to keep on giving WoW a chance in all of its failures, (oh yes they have been pointed out..perhaps you just dont notice them yet, just like you didnt notice all of FFXI's flaws when you were lvl 50)... and be as blind as I am in my faith of SE as a company, in their past games, and the product they have made so far...then we will be getting nowhere with this, and I have no reason to post here anymore.

Actually that last reply you made was probably the only reply of yours that actually specifically showed to me why alot of you left, and made me feel you had a valid reason. (No I dont feel you owe me an explanation, but just that is why I pursued the topic so much.)

Only thing I can do, is make sure these are bookmarked, when "there's no more support for end game," and "when Blizzard doesnt listen to our needs." Just don't say the "I toldja so" wasn't coming. Have fun in WoW, I hope you're right and I'm completely wrong.. but only time will tell. Maybe it won't take 2 years this time either.

I don't just pull this shit out of my ass, (Im sure you'll directly quote me on that with "ORLY".) and this thread WAS in response to prior topics regarding FFXI being a game which is indeed doomed graphics-wise and content wise because of the PS2's memory limitations. This was merely to state that "WOW damn this game does look good, and better then alot of its competition (I'm amazed this is argued..) despite being on what many claim as a very dated console.

I played WC3 for 2 years almost non-stop, and regardless of how much I enjoyed it...I'd be the first to tell you it looked fucking horrible compared to anyother game I was playing atm, on the same PC etc. So please don't throw the fanboy comments at me.

Fact: Squaresoft has gone on the record stating that the PS2 is the reason they cannot add more races to the game, cannot add a better variety of armor to the game, among numerous other things for a lack of expansion.

Your thread was made WITH THE DIRECT INTENT to start a debate with people playing WoW because you created a thread that was completely biased with an unfair comparison of graphics. Don't try and act like you didn't know what you were doing, you acted like a fanboy defending the motherland and I called you out on it. Stop having such a period that some people don't agree with you and move on. You needlessly made a thread to dismiss WoW as ugly, thats flaming.

You're entire point was completely invalid because of the SS you decided to use as the examples. The PS2 is a piece of shit by todays standards and directly limits the game, so says Square itself. You posted SS that were extremely high-res that the PS2 simply isn't capable of maintaining in a persistant world ingame, so you're entire thread was fanboy in nature because it was entirely fictional to support your claims. Furthermore, it was out of nowhere because you created an entirely different thread to trash WoW in, so I'm not wrong, you're just blind w/ ignorence to people of different views than your own.

Nowhere did you convince me in your post that FFXI wasn't doomed by the PS2s memory limitations. You posted a handful of pictures from the PC version of the game, which HAS NOTHING AT ALL to do with the PS2 limiting it. I called bullshit on your thread and I'm calling bullshit on you now, because like always you've missed the bigger picture. Again, I'm right, you're some kind of fanboy who won't accept that people don't like FFXI's endgame and don't think it'll ever change (and actually have first hand knowledge from Square that they don't care about it).

You've turned this into a crusade against WoW, but all it really is, is a vote of no confidence in Square, and the desire to play ANYTHING else with a glimmar of hope for future endgame. The only thing blind in this thread is your lotalty to a company that has done everything but denounce endgame as a focus for their development team. I'm open-minded enough to realize when something is broke and needs fixing, and even more open-minded to moving on to new experiences when the broken game is going to stay that way.

Grow up and start making actual arguments that don't involve biased information.
