    I have done all of the CoP missions and have Dynamis-Xarcabard cleared so those requirements (if they exist) woudn't be a problem.

    If clearing Dynamis-Xarc is a requirement, they will be locking out a lot people interested in alternate means for upgrading relics and gaining AFs. I don't think their intention would be to do that.

    Not all dynamis shells have the means or numbers to defeat Dynamis Lord (I suppose some will just say {That's too bad}). Secondly, most shells that have beaten him probably have more than 36 people and therefore some would be left out especially if these areas are also on the same timed lockout (ie old dynamis prevents you from doing the new one for 3 days).

    Due to these issues, I think the requirements won't be quite that harsh (maybe have to beat up to a certain CoP mission like others mentioned) or involve some new minor quests and I'd assume that they'll be seperate timers.

    No. When Ondori, Bert and Bikkwin interviewed Sage Sundi he said the relic system was exactly as they intended and they didn't want more than a handful on any server to make them "exclusive" and that they had no plans on making them easier to obtain.

    NICE! All i can say about this new update is

    Dynamis - Valkurm: Vanguard Selbina Train OMFG! (props if they make Vanguard Marchelute)


    The other shit sounds interesting, along with this Relic +1...wow maybe SE wants us to use the currency on that shit too? thanks for giving more people incentive to sponsor dynamis so it'll take people even more time to get relic weapons. I hope they dont just give +1 to every stat on the damn armor and make it insanely hard to attain.

    You probably wont need any special requirments, one of the reasons for adding these is probably because of the dynamis congestion.

    We're still trying to get shit from dynamis even after more than a year of farming the fuck out of it. What would make me happy is "we upped the drops in dynamis so you can actually GET your AF2 to upgrade."

    We've seen ONE set of WHM gloves EVER. We have more mantles and shortly more relic weapons than WHM gloves. It's ludicrous.

    Also 36 pretty much fucks us. We ALWAYS have at least 40 for dynamis and NEVER 72. WTF were they thinking?

    36 is the max, doesn't necessarily mean you can't do well with like 24.

    64 is the max in regular Dynamis and you can clear up to Xarc with about half that much and you can farm Xarc with half that much as well.

    As in previously released Dynamis areas, players may enter the new areas once every three days.
    I might just be nit-picking words here, but my interpretation of that is that the new areas would be on a seperate timer. Of course it doesn't say that it's not on the same timer as the rest of Dynamis either...

    With only 36 people:

    1) The price of admission had better be 500k
    OR
    2) The drop rates on desired items had better be doubled

    or I'm not fucking interested.

    Yeah, 36 doesn't really strike me as a horrible limitation either, I don't know anybody who takes 64 people to dynamis, and the better linkshells can clear the 4 nations with 24ish or so. Assuming the difficulty is scaled in proportion to the # of people that can enter, I can see the new dynamis' only taking 1 alliance to clear after people have strategies for them.

    Well, as long as these don't require Xarc to be cleared (if it is supposedly a "new" dynamis storyline), I'll be happy.

    thinking of it on a reasonable level, I don't see why they don't require you to have beat xarc yet.

    This is how i see it

    -They already said this is for "advance players" who've done dynamis.
    -The zones have been in the game data for a while, so to me i think they've been keeping an eye on how many people have cleared xarc.
    -They made it 36 max for a reason, even when the zones can hold more then that.

    I bet you'll need sea to enter it. Maybe they think it is a good way to get more people motivated to get sea. Too bad that will just piss most people off.

    I agree with all this.

    My hopes (however), would be that they require you to clear Xarc yet DEFINATELY be on a seperate timer. Why?

    Think how when they introduced level-capped stuff. Now level-capped stuff sucks but if any of you have non-HNM friends that are more social players, maybe in their lower levels....this let you hang out and accomplish things with them.

    Not tying the 2 groups of zones together accomplishes the same thing. It would allow "advanced" players to still participate with folks that haven't been able to get into a group that can beat xarc.

    Obviously SE is 100% against instanced zones (i won't count BCNM fights), but if they add enough new zones like this...i think it will serve the purpose nicely.

    edit: and why do you need zilart? Did you need zilart for the original dynamis areas?

    And I still think they should add job specific accesories to dynamis too. Cleric's Earring? How about a 5% cure potency or enhanced haste? Yes please.
