    You're wrong.

Tavnazian Safehold is much larger than Ru'Lude Gardens. Two floors, each with its own side areas, including a semi-basement on one of them, the area in the middle on the bottom, etc etc.

    No, much larger than Ru'Lude.

A 36-person cap on the CoP Dynamis zones is interesting; hopefully there will have a shorter time limit and less mobs so that it is less laggy.
In Limbus I get to chainspell half a dozen times in an hour and use 4 pools worth of MP in (convert, chest, convert) in as many minutes. Other than that, I hate it.

Dynamis and Limbus should at least give XP. It's not like I have time to go out and get any in any other way. At least farming pop items in sky and sea I'll end up +2-6k

Dynamis has the scrolls, but 100-300 xp for 24 people over the course of a 3 1/2 hour run is hardly anything special. It would be nice if the scrolls dropped more frequently and gave 500-800 xp per scroll. It'd also be nice if on the final armoury crate you got 2500 or so xp like from ENM's.

it's not about scrolls unless they dropped on every mob.

the mobs should give XP, even if it's the same as killing an EM with a full alliance.

Wow, flux talks to me on BG forums, but not at LS events.... I'm heartbroken.

Anyways, Ru'Lude atleast has room to move. Tavnzania, other than the little corners where the moogle / AH are, its all very very crampted quarters.
You join the LS you used to talk shit about on a daily basis.. what else do you expect from some of them?
XP shouldn't be an issue with Dynamis, you enter the zone knowing you might take an XP hit. Unless you're pullers suck, you generally shouldn't die often, or if you do, you can still get R3.
XP off mobs would be nice, but those mobs drop currency and AF2. SE likes making stuff hard to do, so I doubt you'll ever see people get XP also.

Well, this might be some blind speculation, but last night our Dynamis Lord Victory seemed really easy, he died alot faster then he usually does. Maybe he was made easier in that maintenace allowing completion of xarcabard as a req for new zones more feasable.

It would be nice if the mobs gave xp, i'd be overjoyed if they were EM to be chainable, but gave just a tiny amount of xp.

It, would be funny to have people try to speed clear dynamis to try and get a really high xp chain.
Continuing that train of thought, maybe they could do something neat like implement a time extension bonus for the 1st time you chain 10, 25 and 50. It would be an interesting incentive to be more aggressive with clearing dynamis.
I think my biggest issue with dynamis is that I want to do it twice a week, namely saturday+sunday. The lockout rules should allow people to get their dynamis fix twice a week playing on weekends twice, instead of being stuck doing 1 midday week+1 weekend day. I really hope the new dynamis areas are on a seperate timer, since this would allow a saturday+sunday dynamis schedule.

The problem with doing dynamis 2 times on a weekend is..

you're doing it 2 times on a weekend. With only 1 group in at a time you're all gonna get screwed. I dunno about other servers but weekends are already packed.

I think more areas being available would alleviate the increased number of people doing saturday+sunday dynamis if it is possible. I'm curious if there is a specific zone on your server being highly contested, i'm guessing maybe beauc/xarc?
I wonder if the new areas are just more 'starter cities' in terms of drops/difficulty.

I believe that getting a free time slot for glacier/xarc will just get worse anyways due to increasing interest in dynamis, unless the newer dynamis areas allow people to get attestation/fragments/af2 bodies as well.

Is that how you plan to try to woo me over to Osiris ??
All the people I talked shit about in BG, they went to Osiris. So, your point is rather moot. You fail, as usual.

    But hey, Lance, guess what:
Rinste and Limitbreaker are lvling SMN. How long till I see them running around jeuno with Osiris pearls since you cum in your pants over SMN's ?? (ie: Letting Arumah (a drk) into Osiris, just because Cailth (a smn) wouldn't join unless you let Arumah in too.)

Like I said about Tavnzania, the area is very cramped and close-quartered. moreso than Jeuno.

I personally hope it'll be on a seperate timer. After 1 year of 6 nation dynamis, every dynamis shell has made their own set rotation, atleast I'd hope so. Throwing these 3 in into the same 3 day cooldown would seriously fuck a lot of LS's up.

I think the majority of dynamis linkshells are 30ish people and call clearing just killing the boss. Interlopers on Gilgamesh is probably in the minority with 50+ people, which lets us wipe out the entire zone with lots of time left over. I'd be interested to know how Wafik's BLM dynamis shell works though, how many people and how much they clear.
During our first cycle, we typically had 30-35 people, about 20ish BLM, and were able to easily clear every city zone with plenty time to farm, with the exception of Windurst which seems to give us trouble.

Now we are in the middle of our second cycle with typically 40-45 people, about 25ish BLM. We were able to fully clear out Bastok (every mob dead) with about 3 minutes to spare. We cleared about 90% of San d'Oria, mostly because attendance dropped sharply after boss kill, but also because we have never cleared past the Leathercraft Guild, so it was slower. When time ran out we had cleared everything but about 15 stones. We cleared Jeuno with similar numbers last week, and were able to farm about 25% of the Jeuno Boss repops, again mostly hindered by dropping numbers after boss kill (40 ppl -> 25 ppl, even though we had about 50 minutes) and the fact we didn't know what we were pulling.

We have 2 weeks left on the current city cycle (Jeuno repeat for the people who were gone for Thanksgiving, and then Windurst).

    New Areas of Dynamis!

Dynamis, introduced in February 2004, is a collection of special battlefields designed for alliances with a maximum of 64 players.

As mentioned in the recently released Topics article regarding the Fellowship system, the simultaneous display of characters on screen is limited due to memory restrictions on the client side, which created fears that such expansive battles would create too great of a processing burden. However, the FINAL FANTASY XI Development Team made player enjoyment the main priority, and worked hard to make Dynamis a reality. As of now, countless players have ventured to Dynamis, but the extraordinary difficulty of the areas makes return trips a necessity.

In the last version update, we introduced the new area "Limbus" for an alliance of 18 players to enjoy as often as they wish. The area was created with comments in mind that Dynamis requires too much time and too many people, and as a result, Limbus was made comparatively less demanding. However, Limbus is rather straightforward, and players who have already conquered Dynamis may find the area lacking in excitement. Therefore, we have decided to release new Dynamis areas for advanced players.

The following areas exist but have yet to be made public:

    Dynamis - Valkurm
    Dynamis - Buburimu
    Dynamis - Qufim
    Dynamis - Tavnazia

In the next version update, we plan to release the first three areas to the public servers.

New features will also be released in accordance with the new areas.

    -New story developments
-New items that can be used to improve relic armor
-New items available only in the new Dynamis areas
-Relic equipment and ancient currency that players could earn in previously released Dynamis areas will also be available in the new areas

Both the "Rise of the Zilart" and "Chains of Promathia" expansion packs must be installed in order to access the new areas. As in previously released Dynamis areas, players may enter the new areas once every three days. In addition, up to 36 players may access the new areas at a time.

We hope you enjoy the challenging new areas.

I am kind of hoping you do need to have beat Dynamis Xcarabard to do the new zones. It would give the more hard core players a chance to do the new zones first.
