You need to skill at cap. As in your YourLevel + Guild Support + Guild Equipment and Furniture should be greather than or equal to the cap, not one level below.

Actually, no- it’s just really, really rare. I once got a Silver Hairpin +1 when I was skilling up goldsmithing, and that was without support (I was 2 under cap) and before guild gear existed. I kept that Hairpin for a long time too.

I got a skillup on the Arhat's Hakama +1 I made, that was a fun day. I had muled, logged on and synthed first thing in my MH and bam. Now I face North most of the time I make everything unless someone requests a different direction.

What I meant was, your chances are much much higher if you skill at cap. If you skill below cap your chances are slim to none, otherwise you're in 0 tier which is 1-2%. below cap I think is < 1%, maybe .5% or something

i wasnt actually wanting skillup on them.
my LS leader just had 6 extra dragon blood and 6 dragon masks for crimson mask and needed the extra space. told me he doesnt care about it if it hq's or not, he just wanted the space.
made it, got .2 ^^. (was 95.1? at the time)

first one for him free
second one sold for about 10m split 50/50

Nanzo (some JP alchemist with a ton of good gear) on Bahamut said he was 1/126 on his Cursed Mask -1, and about 1/70 on his Cursed Mail -1. Tengaar is 1/2 on Mask for me. lolz All he said was "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."
