    edit:
actually watched the video, and here are my comments.

    A) i -thoroughly- enjoyed the 20 seconds of you and your af2 body standing on top of the vortex. epic '-')b
    B) any reason you showed the same footage twice in the beginning?
    C) 2 minutes of walking and 1 minute of "fighting" = bad
    D) if you were gonna include you guys' ventrilo chat in the end, ffs make it more interesting than a black screen. at -least- show that guy's "hax lot"
    E) just my opinion but you could've picked WAY better music for the fight

oh and also, i find it odd how you look at comments like this:
lol? I guess, um, thanks for the 2-3 minutes of you guys WALKING TO THE BC, and the like 30-60 seconds of fade-in/fade-out sort-of fighting action you got going on... with an equal amount of time spent zooming in on the drops. I guess someone around here may want to tug your e-penis, which seems to be the intended effect here, since this video really shows nothing else besides your glorious descent into Central Apollyon, the drops you got when you won, and the awesome credits rolling at the end. Truly heroic.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is that this was not very interesting. Maybe you're concerned about revealing your awesome tactics for dealing with it? I don't know. But I feel like that's 5-6 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Thanks! :3

thanks for the honest responses though ^^

It was laggy because you were casting Stoneskin. Stoneskin among many other spells (Firaga III anyone?) causes the framerate of FFXI to drop to ungodly levels.

and as for how you're so "perplexed" on how I got angry over Lockeroles comment, try reading the thread instead of looking at responses and jumping on the band wagon and being mr. fad. Lockeroles first post was taken with kindness, after his and many other peoples posts i responded with a thank you for honesty and an explanation for the lag. But lockerole had to be a bigshot and attempt to correct me as if I didn't know why I was lagging. that's what pissed me off.

It's resisted by half, just like on CoP Wyrms. All magic is. Spirit's Within is considered magical damage.

30 seconds of darkness with ventrilo chat: bad (edit: did I say minutes..jesus)

Honestly, no point in producing video if it's pitch darkness with scratchy audio in the background. Maybe if you doubletimed the next 90 seconds of video with the ventrilo over it it might have been watchable. I just skipped ahead until I saw something, because the first time I watched this vid I thought somehow I was missing a codec or something.

'bout another minute and a half of watching people buff outside the BF with a choppy framerate: awkward

See above. Fraps produces really really bad chop no matter how good your comp is. Smooth it out with a speed increase or something. It will at least help the action on screen (or lack thereof) keep up with the tempo of the funky music.

Blackout transitions between action footage: also awkward

    I'm sure your video editing software (I'm assuming MS Movie Maker) gave you more transitions to play with than that. You made good use of them in the drawdistance plugin video you made earlier, I liked that vid more by a lot ^^;

Another minute, minute and a half of pitch black with ventrilo. ouch.

Thanks yeah I wish I hadn't filmed so much pre-fight footage because like I said, I ran out of room to save clips about half way through the fight lol. Next time I'll try to be more froogle about how I record clips so I can have more content (seems to be the main problem with my video). Thanks for everyones responses though, that's why I post here, good feedback.
