Wow, is this what much of our FFXI NA community has devolved into? Bickering, hate, insinuations, fighting?

Someone just completed a final Relic Weapon, the hardest quest in the game, and instead of congratulations, most of the thread is about hate, jealousy, finger-pointing, "this is a waste of time," etc. /sigh

Then we get some random Race Card /drama as well, WTH? LOL!

People are bickering, and hating on this weapon because it sucks for the amount of time/gil/money spent on it, and that SE failed in making them proportionately good to their cost. That's why people are hating on the knuckles.

Congratulations is given where it's warranted. If you believe the ends justify the means...then go ahead. In my opinion...and in the opinions of people like Muze... the ends do not justify the means...and its the means which make up everything in between and that is what matters.

Then we get some random Race Card /drama as well, WTH? LOL!

Race card was brought up when it was originally stated that it was the "only NA fully upgraded Relic on the server." I dont know but I know alot of NAs who are working hard to get theirs upgraded might think differently.

Why should people hold their applause? Lockecole, you have something against JP and NA combined efforts? Regardless of if they had to hire help to get it done, it's finished. Is Siren's End-Game Community filled with this much /drama? Makes me glad to not be on Siren.

No I dont have anything against JP and NA combined efforts. I have a single JP in my LS, and he's possibly the nicest person on the whole server, works harder then anyone I know, and is the person I look up to more then anyone, because of his work ethic and dedication. This has nothing to do with a combined NA & JP effort. It's NA gil and JP effort and that's the issue....the one single thing us NAs could have to say we hold pride in, is laughed about by the JP themselves. Riryou was laughing that they couldnt win, laughing that he felt she RMTed it all, and laughed that we said we could get the attestations ourselves. So this has only made us a joke in their eyes...and I'm starting to wonder if I should blame them.

Long and the short of it, a kid tries to light a fart on fire after watching a Canadian movie and burns to death. There is a song called "Blame Canada", the US goes to war with Canada, lots of people die. Oh, and Sadaam Heusein and Satan are lovers.

LOL. Let me ask you, did you make, synth, personally hunt the NM / Mob for every piece of equipment you own? What do you think the Auction House (or a Bazaar) is? It's for someone to pay someone else for THEIR effort / hard work / camping / claiming / defeating / crafting of an item for someone else. Unless you personally crafted / claimed / got the drop for every single Equipment / Item you use, you're a hypocrite.

And your point Lock? On our server, good people who don't have the LS to help them, are able to buy Earthen Body Abj., or Hecatomb Abj., Black Belt Items. BFD! LOL.

If these items (including Attest. etc.) were Auctionable, they'd be up there in an instant, and there would be a market for it.

"NA honor" please. This is a game, people buy services all the time for help. As one poster put it earlier, whether that payment is gil or favors ("You help me here, I'll pay you back and help you camp XYZ.") or whatever, it's getting help and completing something in the game.

Well enough of this pointless /drama (again). I'm going back to enjoying my game .

The Fish Ranking System

A new competition for fishermen (and fisherwomen) is set to arrive on Vana'diel with the next version update!

We have received several requests for a fish ranking system and have debated the issue for a considerable amount of time. After seeing the positive results of the Ballista Ranking system, we decided to make Fish Ranking a reality!...

-After submission, each fish will be evaluated regardless of the method in which it was acquired. If you could not catch the fish required for the contest, you may want to try working with your linkshell members or other adventurers, or even buy the fish at the auction house. Contest winners will receive a new title and a modest award.
