Merit Question

Just a quick merits question, maybe someone has run into this before.

I've got 8 merits stored up, ready to spend on str upgrade #3 once I get the 9th merit. However, I'm only 5k tnm...and 15k till the 10 merit cap.

What happens if I xp tomorow and get 20k+? Do I get xp into the next merit like what happens when you ding 75? Or does it auto switch me back to xp mode?

I'm guessing it goes back to exp mode.

As far as Thorak told me anyway. The XP just goes no where.

i know that max merit goes no where when you have maxed exp...not sure if it's the same when your exp is not maxed.

You can get 10 merit + 9999 XP. Not sure what happens then, I think it automatically goes into normal XP.

That should be fine then, I don't plan on going super hard tomorrow night so I shouldn't hit the limit.

I was 12k/44k EXP and joined a merit PT with 8/10 merits. Got 10/10 and 9999/10000, but it never switched back to EXP mode.
