Seriously, the people who are posting that have gorgets, try them on single hit SA'd ws, because thats what this question is dealing with, it's been found that the gorgets are awsome for multi-hit, so people brining up Jin Rampage and Danceing Edge are right, but they aren't necicaraly pretaining to the OP.

THe WS refrenced in Sekkites test was, a one hit, SA+WS, which is very simalar to the application of Steel Cyclone, so pretaining to this type of ws I'm still going to have to say torque is most likely better.

I never did any worthwhiled testing, but I perfer gorget over torque. Like Russta said, once you stop trying to looking for hundreds of added damage, gorget does add a pretty good amount. About 100-200, mostly depending on the TP you do it at. I've also only missed one non-SA'd steel cyclone with only +15 ACC in gear and gorget, and that includes on mobs with insane evasion like Byakko and Suzaku.

Torque has almost no boost in damage though. :\ Was pretty disappointed. Basically the only time I used Steel Cyclone though was at the start of the fight for hate, in which case I really needed the accuracy from Gorget.

And for SATA WS, I think Ground Strike is better do to the sheer versitlity of it. Give up ~200 damage in order to be able to start or end basically every good SC in the game (Dark, Light, Distortion, Fragmentation) and the abilility to skillchain with basically ever job effeciently. Really need a Martial Sword in order to make it good though, I couldn't stand Ground Strike when I only had a Skofnug. Subduer might also be sexy for it.

The weird part is, I use Rid/Joy in EXP with Hedgehog Pie, and my Vorpal Blades are a lot more consistant with Torque. I'm able to peak higher with gorget, breaking 1k+ more often, but I also get those shitting 500 damage Vorpals a lot more. I hardly ever hit under 700 with Torque, so I perfer it over gorget then.
