If the BLU loses lot on Ridill, or gets shafted in priority, just disband the alliance. That's what real men do.
It's bs.Originally Posted by Razz
No, if a BLU loses lot on Ridill, just spike flail everyone, thats what real blue mages do.Originally Posted by Epical
Only Galka and Mithra Blue Mages can use Spike Flail since they have tails.Originally Posted by Razz
And could you imagine that conversation. "Guys, we have to make Fafnir Spike Flail so I can learn it." "Um..."
Can you actually survive a Spike Flail outside of evading it completely?
I've seen it hit someone for like 1700 damage (not terribly uncommon for some PLDs or MNKs). If that person had had more than 1700 HP, he would have survived.
I've seen PLD's only hit for like 100 when everyone else takes 1200+Originally Posted by Elcura
While I assume they had AA or evaded a hit, it would seem to reason that it is *still* a normal melee hit (that did 100 to them while everyone else took 600 per swing), just extremely high spike damage. I'd imagine it's a Atk999 swing, but if you have enough Def who knows you might get lucky.
If you only have two shadows up, your shadows will blink spike flail for some reason.
yes, we had Tiamat flail on us once, but it happened to only get directed at our 2 pld's. One pld died, once survived, taking around 1500 dmg and his HP is almost 1900. Since none of the mages got hit (it was directed at the mountian range there), they had him cured very quickly and we were able to sub in another pld for the fallen one. yes, Spike flail is survivable, but it does ALOT of dmg, ha ha.
